Dreams Acapulco Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

We had an amazing time. We loved our room and the service throughout the hotel was phenomenal!!!! Best we ever had. In particular, we would like to recognize Jorge Quezada from The Pescador restaurant, and Ernesto from the Pescador bar, for their hard work in providing amazing service. However, we stayed for a week and got tired of our food options. Changing the menus up more would be helpful. Also, a little more adult entertainment in the evening please. We loved the ****** night.

I am UVC member and wanted to visit the Dreams resort in Acapulco because of the location, despite having read some unfavorable reviews. It is actually not a resort but a normal sized hotel with all-inclusive. It is a bit old, but with good materials and well kept, similar to the Emporio hotel which is close. There are limited dining options which are not open all days (and were not open even the days it said they were to be open on the Hyatt app). The swimming pools are good (for a hotel, not a resort), but there was no reserved area for adults (like they have at hotel Emporio, which makes a huge difference) and some people bring their own music speakers (there was no mention of this being prohibited). The best is to walk and swim on the beach. The last day of my 3 nights stay I got food poisoned, probably at the seafood restaurant, so I spent the remaking time of my stay close to the toilet and barely managed to get back to CDMX. I have never had any such problems at any other resort or even simple hotels in Mexico, even eating seafood. I noted that some service personnel insisted on using their hands even with a spoon next to them, perhaps it has to do with this, or bad raw materials. I would not recommend anyone visiting this hotel before the hotel has completely revised the hygienic procedures.

DO NOT go to this hotel, we got here early and they made us leave until 1:30, horrible guest services , they should let us in at least to use the pool whole we wait, they said we had to $30 a person if we want to use the pool

The staff are the only good thing about this resort. We won't go back to Dreams in Acapulco. We've gone to Princess Mundo 3 times and will be going back. I did like that the ocean was calm, but as a beach walker, the beach is more difficult to walk on. Food and drinks, terrible. Stupid rules regarding walking around with a drink and no towels in lobby. The towels aren't in great shape, so not sure why they can't be re-used. No one would steal them. Wasteful in my opinion, to wash a fairly clean towel. Use the nice plastic cups they use at Secrets Huatulco instead of glass. Most restaurants were closed, so you get stuck eating the same thing over and over. I ordered a salad because I wanted one with blue cheese, they did not bother to tell me there was no blue cheese available, but brought it to me anyway. Why not tell me before bringing it, so I can decide if I still want it? No one that we met from Canada said they would go back. Too expensive for such a crappy resort. If Princess Mundo can have great food, why can't Dreams? Step it up Dreams. I wouldn't waste my money. Go elsewhwere.

I love history in a town, resort, hotel when I travel. Dreams Resort has that and more. Entering the lobby gives one a feeling of grandeur. The staff is always available, restaurants plenty, room always clean. I don’t speak a word of Spanish; it worked! We loved our stay.

Fantastic as usual ! We receive best service with Cenobio and Estella at la Ceiba ! They are extremely excellent and attentive to our needs and requests ! Elizabeth at preferred services Ruth at housekeeping Antonio at beach side We love it here ! Home away from home!

Great place. Clean hotel. Great staff. Get the premium service for sure. You get your own private team and Resturant /bar on 21 st floor ! Elizabeth and Caesar were absolutely fabulous with how they cared ! But overall everyone was great ! The beach is not the white sand but it’s a beach - it’s cleanest in the morning ! The streets are safe and honestly there was no soliciting for sex or *****- there was only little Mexican persons selling hats and jewels on the beach - and the massages on the beach were amazing ! Acapulco is magical. Everything about the city makes me feel welcome and at home. The people are friendly and the food is always 10/10. The service at dreams was outstanding and the renovations really gave it a more modern touch to a classic hotel. The location is great as it is central and right on the costera, but also close to the high end bars and restaurants in las brisas and the diamanté. I loved every minute of my experience in Acapulco and I will be going back again very soon. I highly recommend everyone to go at least once!

Spent 1 great week in Acapulco at Dreams Acapulco and Spa. Booked the Preferred Club Deluxe Ocean View room. Great hotel with good service and staff. In addition to the usual resort facilities, the Preferred Club included private concierge services, private lounge with daily meals and snacks, & fine liquors. Huge oceanfront room. Private area by the pool and beach. Well worth the extra money. Concierge staff in particular Cesar Ortiz and Elizabeth Garcia were excellent and totally client-focussed. They added significantly to this memorable experience. Can't wait to return.
