Overall this was a really lovely hotel and stay. I'll write about the things most notable and important to us when we were looking to book a hotel. Everything is clean, the maids came every day and changed sheets and towels and left the room immaculate. The pool area always had sunbeds available in sun or shade, comfy loungers, lovely pool at the main building. The pool by the beach is also nice but smaller, but you also have the sea right there. We got a voucher so that we would not have to pay for sunbeds on the beach front in front of the hotel on check in. The pool bar serves nice drinks, lovely light beer, and there are some snacks in the fridge outside of meal times like wraps and sandwiches, as well as help yourself ice cream. The pools were open 9-8pm. The sea in front of the hotel is quite choppy, but a 15 minute walk right along the beach the water was much calmer and beautiful for a swim. Our room was 321, and lovely. We had mountain views and also could see the pool area from the balcony. It was lovely and quiet. There were some pool towels to use, these were quite tired and threadbare, but saves you packing your own towels. Bath towels were lovely and fresh every day. We seemed to be the only british speaking couple in the hotel, we did not come across any others. That was ok for us, we were just there to chill. The entertainment is confined to thursday greek nights. It wasn't our cup of tea, a guy with a keyboard and disco lights, but entertaining to watch others have the time of their lives. The food was absolutely fine. We paid a very reasonable price for all inclusive, so our expectations for food were not high, but you can always find something to your taste even if some of the dishes look a little dubious. Chips were lovely, Gyros night was delicious, and the deserts are definitely the star of the show (aside from lurpak butter which in the uk costs more lb for lb than 14k gold). The staff on the front desk were so lovely and helpful. The bed was a little hard for me and I woke with sore hips and after telling the front desk, they put another mattress topper on for us and that was loads better. The pillows were a bit thick for us, and we asked for a thinner one but it wasn't much better. The staff on the pool bars were fine and cordial although not as friendly as the front desk staff. I appreciate we went at the end of the season so they are likely done in by this point, but they certainly were not as friendly as I've experienced on other holidays in Greece. Location is great, lots of tavernas and shops on the main *****. We got the bus right outside the hotel into Chania one day, it cost 6 Euro return for two of us. Chania is quite beautiful, especially the charming side streets. We had a lovely stay and for a brilliant price. The food is not 5* standard but that's not what you're paying for - we did go out for food a few times which we could afford to do due to how fairly priced it was. All this alongside it bei
