Stayed for a week at the start of August and really enjoyed our holiday. The complex itself is really small and family ran - which we loved. The rooms were basic but really clean and the staff from the receptionist - cleaner - barman were all brilliant and so friendly. There was always hot water from the shower, there were always sunbeds around the pool and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Apartments were only a 5 min walk from the beach and if you turn left out the hotel there were some gorgeous - more traditional - restaurants. If I was to return to Crete I would definitely consider coming back here. Also - we had a late flight on the return home so paid only 25 euro to keep our 1 bedroom apartment on until 6pm which was perfect. The only slight negative - we were travelling as a family of 4 staying in a 1 bedroom apartment however the air con unit was only in the living area, so we had to keep the bedroom door open in order to get cool air through.

What a great little set of apartments. After a 2 hour delay at airport we finally arrived at stupid o'clock in the morning to be greeted by the friendly, smiling face of Constantina the owner! This trend continued throughout our 10 nights stay. Joanna ,who cooked and served breakfast, worked the bar till mid afternoon was a star. Great sense of humour! Mina the cleaner kept everywhere spotlessly clean. Room was spacious with massive, comfy bed. Large balcony overlooking pool. Apartments in great location, couple of minutes up road to great tavernas and just a bit further down the road to main road with all the shops, bars and tavernas you can dream of! Beach just beyond. Bus stops on main road and also Little Fun Train station which is worth doing. Really enjoyed our stay even though we had to ride the heatwave!!

We have just spent a fantastic week here at Dias Hotel. It is spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are so helpful and friendly. Lovely clean pool and the pool bar serve a great range of food and drinks. It's in a great location. Turn right and you are 5 mins from the beach and a wide range of bars and restaurants and if you turn left up a slight hill there are some more excellent restaurants. 1st time at Dias and 1st time in Crete, but we are already looking at rebooking for next year.

We had a lovely time at the Dias studios Lots of repeat visitors we noted which says a lot. Rooms are basic, nothing posh, but clean, comfy bed and nice shower. Little kitchen area with just one ring but we only used the kettle. Have a decent hair dryer in the bedroom. Aircon was great (you pay extra) Pool area was nice. Plenty of beds. Staff lovely (Joanna behind the bar 10/10) Enjoyed the location. Lots of nice Tavernas close to

Our best holiday so far, staff were very caring, friendly and a can do attitude. Was made to feel welcome from start to finish. Joanna behind the snack bar is a huge credit to the hotel, infact all the staff should be proud of themselves. Food very good, pool area always clean. No sunbed wars. Our room cleaned everyday except Sunday, and even provided washing up accessories and hand soap. I cannot fault this little hotel at all and was so impressed thar we have already rebooked for next year. Can't wait to see you all again. Thank you for a lovely holiday

We stayed here in 2019 and had booked for 2020 but because of covid, our booking rolled over to 2021 and then 2022. It’s in a perfect location for us, close to many restaurants, not far from the beach and a short walk to the bus stop. We had a very warm welcome at Reception when we arrived. All the staff are lovely. The whole place is kept spotlessly clean, from the pool/bar area to the rooms. The pool is a decent size and new sunbeds arrived whilst we were there. We had a one bedroom apartment that was spacious. We really enjoyed our stay at Dias. My OH is learning Greek (not just a few phrases) and all the staff were patient to help him. We booked again for 2023 as soon as we returned home.

I arrived here on Tuesday after a delayed flight and I was greeted with a smile and the young lady insisted in carrying my suitcase up the few stairs to reception. All the staff I have met since are equally friendly and obviously enjoy getting to know their guests. My room is very clean and well maintained. The pool area is very clean and, currently, very quiet. Getting a sunbed has not been a problem any day so far. The pool bar serves very good snacks at reasonable prices. Within very easy reach are a number of excellent restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs and other shops. On the beach I have seen restaurants offering free sun beds if clients buy some lunch. I booked this place independently of a travel agent or holiday company and I thought the rates were very good value. The price I paid included air conditioning and room safety deposit box. There is a 50 cent room tax payable in cash on arrival, but that is standard.

Just returned from a fabulous Week at the Dias with my partner & 14 year old son. Studio/Apartments were spotlessly clean, rooms spacious & staff very friendly & accommodating. Set just off the main Road of Agia Marina with fabulous tavernas up the hill. Def recommend the Rustic Garden but you do need to book as very popular. Bus into Chania was just under €5 for all 3 of us one way which you can catch just at the bottom of the road left of the petrol station, def worth a visit. Already mentioned to family members about returning next year with group of us.
