We stayed one week and we had all inclusive. Hotel was tidy and the food was very good with a lot of choises. Location is also OK. Bus stop was in front of the hotel. We enjoyd our stay. Special thanks to staff . Very friendly and good service. We can reccommend this hotel.

A visit in April 2024 to Hotel Marilena made some wonderful memories to last a lifetime. We went on our first family trip with a child and were blessed to choose this hotel. The staff greeted and treated us like family members. The waiters and bar tenders were enthusiastic and helpful, not only with drinks and foods but also with recommendations and friendly support. The food deserves to be ranked by 5 stars, is really worth eating there, and serves well for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free diets, low-fat or no-fat diets as well. Always two or three sorts of meat and fish, so fresh and tasty. The beds were comfortable, the room was tidied and new towels were brought every day. The TV worked perfectly with some radio stations installed. The pool was spacious, as well as the lounges around it. The hotel offers some indoor and outdoor games too. The sea, with a sandy, clean beach and a pleasant entrance to the sea to swim, is only 5 minutes away. The location is brilliant, as the bus stop is right at the gate, and one can travel to the city center by bus No. 1 in about 25 minutes, as well as return by bus No. 6 straight away. Easy access to the airport - same bus, just a 40-minute ride. The taxi stop is at the very gate as well - easy access to any place of Crete. A car rental office and some shops are just round the corner. Will definitely come back again. Love from Laura

Not gonna lie it was really bad experience. If i could id rate it a 0 but i can only do 1. First off the condition of the room was terrible compared to other hotels in the area which were cheaper and better. The food was the only thing i liked it was good and it tasted good the staff were friendly and could speak english but you could get bored very quickly there were no activitys a small swimming pool with no slides and no entertainment. I found it very poor. The cleansliesness was not good they didnt do a thorough clean. I do not reccomend this place.

You can say you've seen bigger 4-star hotels, some of them were newer... but it doesn't matter. PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!! It was this team that made our unforgettable vacation. Their service, smile, willingness to help and kindness created an extraordinary a**osphere. In addition, great cuisine, varied dishes and rooms perfectly cleaned every day. P.S. If your hotel manager is reading this, I am applying for a salary increase for employees :)

We stayed 10 days in this hotel with all-inclusive formula. This allowed us to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and free access to the pool bar at anytime we wanted (until 11:00pm!). Nice staff, available 24h in the Reception. They gave us the opportunity to shower after check-out, coming back from the last beach day. Big pool, big restaurant with a romantic garden. Crete is wonderful, go and have a visit!! Efcharistò to everyone that made my holiday a unique experience! (I appreciated the concrete help from the hotel to the cat colony that roams the facility. If you can, please help cats by contacting reception). Greeting from Italy.

Amazing food and) The staff are very kind throughout the hotel, restaurant and bars and work hard to keep guests satisfied. Thank you guys for your excellent service at pool bar staff which are make crepes and giro are very friendly and all time with the smile serving the people see you again next year tasos and christiana room 805

Visited this hotel in Aug , quick transfer from airport. Room was nice we were in main block but balcony was overlooked by another block so no privacy. Not that it bothered us really. We loved saying morning to other guests to get a complete blank back. Don't think they were happy to be on holiday. All staff were lovely it's nice to acknowledge them as the hours they work and just a thankyou would be nice for them. Food was nice plenty of choice but usual buffet, would say wasn't keen on the fish a bit strong tasting. My kids loved the puddings. After 7 days we started eating out to try local restaurants for a change. Nice to help the local eateries aswell. Beach was 5mins walk and sunloungers were free if you got a drink from the beach restaurants. They would take your order from sunlounger. Coke 2.50 euro Resort itself was really quiet in the evening , no entertainment at hotel but we knew this. The crepe lady was amazing at the pool bar And last the swimmingpool was massive and warm. First experience of jumping in and heart not missing a beat. Maybe as it was August. Thankou for an amazing holiday Stephen family from SCOTLAND

Our 7 night stay at this hotel was pretty good. The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. We loved it. Our room with the pool view was not bad, but the bathroom too tight, especially shower. There was quite good selection of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately we did not liked the coffee from coffee machine and orange juice, because it was a bit watery. The whole area was very comfortable and beautiful - pool area was nice, there is many sunbeds, also we liked the small garden, where you can eat. Hotels location is pretty close to the beach, bus station and huge selection of restaurants and shops. Also, hotel has some space for parking, so it is good for those, who are renting a car during the stay. All in all, we liked it and we would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank You!
