Pequeno Gran Hotel

Very disappointed with the experience. Hotel has very questionable offer not fraudulent business practices. On April 13th I reserved a room for arrival May 3rd. Before I reserved I reviewed the cancellation policy which was 3 days prior to arrival, allowing me to cancel with our penalty before 04/30/22. Furthermore the payment terms were that the payment would be made at the property and not at the time of booking. I changed our travel plans since I needed to stay further north, so I decided to cancel on April 21st, and upon reviewing the credit card statement discovered the hotel had charged the card on April 14th. I contacted the hotel directly to inform the of my cancellation and ask why they had charged my card and that I required a refund. The first hotel representative I spoke to told me, without looking up my reservation, that all ********** reservations were prepaid and non refundable. I proceeded to explain that what I had confirmed and she had me send screen shots of my cancellation/confirmation to a WhatsApp number. I’ve been trying to get a hold of management since then and apparently Isabel Ocaña was the manager and the only person whom could authorize and process my refund. I was told she would be in on Saturday, then told to contact on Monday morning. I called twice on Monday, one in the morning and once in the afternoon, both times I was told she would resolve the matter and get back to me that day and it never happened. I really tried to give the hotel the opportunity to do the right thing and abide be their own terms and conditions however, the management their seems to not care about getting back to a customer or resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. I am bilingual and explained to the hotel that I did not want to proceed to disputing the charge and reporting it as fraudulent but they truly do not care, or at least the management doesn’t, and seems very inept. I had no option after week, but to report the charge and the bank has since credited my account and will be billing the hotel.

El desayuno, aunque siempre era lo mismo, sabía bien, me pareció bien por el precio. La habitación de buen tamaño, instalaciones y muebles no nuevos pero aceptables, lo que si es que el ruido es demasiado, se escucha todo de afuera y adentro. TODO! El personal a la llegada fue muy amable, hasta el siguiente día al quejarme de que nadie me avisó que si estacionaba en uno de los dos cajones que tienen, no iba a poder salir por el maratón de la ciudad, me molestó mucho que en vez de ofrecer una simple disculpa porque se les olvidó avisar al respecto, empezaron a echarse la bolita de quién había sido la culpa, luego dijeron que ellos no sabían de tal evento (cuando los voluntarios y policías viales nos dijeron que cada año es en las mismas fechas y misma avenida, imposible que no supieran) y después de eso ni las buenas tardes contestaba la chica de recepción, me negaron al gerente diciendo que no tenía horario de trabajo, sinceramente no sé por qué no les enseñan que lo primero que se debe hacer es ofrecer disculpas y soluciones, tan fácil que pudo ser disculparse y entonces sugerir qué hacer porque nos cambiaron los planes que teníamos de salir temprano a conocer los pueblos de alrededor de la ciudad, pero en vez de eso dijeron "después de la 1 ven qué hacer, esperen aquí en el hotel" como si uno saliera de vacaciones a ver la tele en un hotel que no ofrece nada, si quisiera estar dentro del hotel pago un todo incluido en la playa, no un hotel de 720 pesos la noche, que evidentemente sólo es para dormir, sin buen Wi-fi, sólo funciona en las tardes, limpieza mala , con manchas en colcha y bola cabello de huéspedes anteriores bajo la cama. No lo recomiendo, por 720 la noche para 2 personas debe haber más opciones de sólo llegar a dormir.
