Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport City Mall

We stayed here the last night of our Costa Rica getaway and couldn’t be happier our decision. The food was delicious, the hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff were wonderful. We’re very particular about cleanliness, and we give this a 10/10. There is a free airport shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes making for a low-stress end to our CR vacation.

The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to support me during my stay. Conveniently located close to the airport and a shopping mall.

Perfect stay for an early flight. Shuttle starts running at 4am. Place was clean and the convenience was worth the slightly higher cost.

Wonderful hotel near the airport with friendly staff and clean and modern facilities. Getting to the hotel was challenging due to traffic and only one way to access the garage. But otherwise, a great stay.

Very clean and well-managed. However, it's near IMPOSSIBLE to get here yourself because of the construction on the roads nearby. I drove around about 20 min in the dark and never found my way in. I parked at the mall and an employee had to escort me through a maze of closed mall parking garages.

Very nice new hotel, such a nice ambiance on the 4th fl where the pool and bar is located. Love it, staff extremely frientdly. Go and see Joel, very nice and makes good cocktails.

Our Stay on 27 February 2024 was perfectly acceptable. Had to ask for an extra blanket. Had an excellent sea bass dinner. Returned on March 5th. The dinner was shockingly bad. The wait was unusually long. Ordered the sea bass again. When it finally arrived it came without the very pleasant sauce we had expected from our previous dinner. Much worse was the quality of the fish. My wife’s serving was such she could not eat more than a few bites. It was bitter; as if it had been fished from a long rest in a freezer. It made my wife ill. Mine was very poor as well. A salad described as a full plate we could share was instead a modest serving for one person. Bread, that arrived only on request was desiccated. Something was very wrong with the kitchen.

Nice, newer property close to airport. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. Airport shuttle as well leaving every 30 min. Staff was great

We arrived at midnight to a room that didnt not appear fully cleaned. The floor was completly dirty throughout and the bedding was very wrinkled. It was the worst feeling to arrive tired after a long flight and just wanting a clean and comfortable room to rest. When we asked for a new room they told us they were fully booked for the night, so we just tried to make the best of it and go to sleep.
