I’m so happy with all the staff at this hotel, they were so nice and helpful. Although I am not happy with the owners, my mother knew Mr. Marriott years ago, I’m sure if he was alive today things would be different.
I’ve stayed at a hotel like this one in 2 different cities in the past 2 months. Both had the exact problem, they would have pictures of suites with spacious rooms and sofa beds. Each time I would pay for a suite and both times I got a room with just a chair. Not one picture of a room with a chair was pictured. I specifically got that room because we had my adult 18 year old grandson that did NOT want to share a bed with his old granny, do you blame him!? So we asked for a roll away which I had to pay for. The first place didn’t even have one. So frustrating.
Also there was an electric short on one retaining wall that connected the kitchen, tv and bathroom. Everything would go off and back on. We could not use the tv the whole stay and the microwave pooped out completely after only one use.
That staff tried so hard to accommodate us but how can they work if they’re not given the correct tools to work with?
Marriott you’d better get your act together and start treating your employees and guests right.
I’m probably not repeating a stay with this chain.
