We had a lovely stay in Cortijo del Marques and can recommend it without restrictions. The hotel is located in a wonderful area between thousands of olive trees, far away from the hustle and bustle of Granada, although not even half an hour trip by car. Here you can relax, swim, and enjoy your holiday like it was meant to be. In the evening, a four-course menu is served, and you will not regret booking half pension. The food is just excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly and do read your wishes in advance. We also appreciated the personl attention of the owners. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay near Granada, where you can swim, and you enjoy fine dining in the evening, then this is the place you should book.

Yet another marvellous family trip staying with Silvia, Eilko and the fabulous team at Cortijo del Marques. Escaping from the routine of work and school in the autumn was just what our family needed. The sunny warmth of Andalucia was matched by the gracious hospitality we enjoyed at Cortijo. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful olive grove. As we drive up the track, our spirits are lifted at the thought of wonderfully clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food, unobtrusive service and a warm welcome. We can't wait to return.

Marvellous, quiet spot in the Andalusian countryside. Amazing food, superb wine list, very comfortable rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for couples looking to disconnect for a few days. A truly unique experience!!

Probably the most beautiful country hotel we ever stayed in. An exquisitely. restored farming compound, with its own chapel, the hotel is several kilometers into the hills and olive groves. It's lovely to sit by the pool and just absorb the countryside--all framed by the snow capped peaks of Granada. Well located for tourist outings (Alhambra, Guadix)--then come back and take a relaxing walk in the hills. Food is top drawer--the restaurant just won Michelin recognition. Your hosts Silvia and Elko truly go the extra nine yards. Highest recommendation!

This place was very nice, food was great too...wanted more! The rooms were comfortable clean spacious and well appointed. The host and Hostess were great as was the staff. A bit off the beaten path but worth it, follow hostess' directions to arrive without issue.

Tranquil boutique hotel , set in glorious rolling countryside but within easy reach of Granada . Very friendly and welcoming , excellent food and wine and very comfortable accommodation with a fabulous view and many places to read and relax.

This is a lovely hotel which really is perfectly placed in the middle of no where to have a relaxing break. The surrounding country side is truly spectacular. The view from the Silo room is a living screensaver!. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good value and of a high quality, the wine list is very good for a small hotel. Would really recommend this gem

This hotel is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. It consists of a number of charming buildings in a fabulous countryside setting, creating the perfect get away. The on-site restaurant serves very high quality and delicious food and dinner is a delightful, well presented 4 courses full of fresh vibrant ingredients to tickle the palate. There is an extensive and impeccably chosen wine list and helpful suggested wines alongside the dinner offering each day. The dining room is a generously proportioned airy, comfortable space. The hosts and staff are friendly, attentive and know their business incredibly well. We stayed in Los Olivos, a family suite with two split level, well proportioned bedrooms and lounge, very comfortable and full of rustic Spanish country charm. Whether it’s an evening walk among the olive groves surrounded by hills, relaxing by the pool with the mountains of the Sierra de Huetor National Park and Sierra Nevada behind it as your backdrop, a drink or tapas in the beautiful grounds or a short trip to Granada and it’s magnificent Alhambra Palaces or other picturesque nearby towns that appeals, I’d suggest you can’t go wrong here. We’ll certainly be back.

We are sadly driving away from a fabulous 3 night stay at this wonderfully relaxing retreat hotel. The food was fabulous; breakfast, lunch and dinner! The wine recommendations and sangria delicious. The owners very friendly and informative, and we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and peace out of busy lives. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The pool was refreshing to cool off from the welcome sunshine and we were given maps of routes that we could run from the hotel! Thank you for a lovely start to our holiday!
