Luna Hotel da Oura

It was a bit difficult to find at first, Very clean, nice furniture, I meet the manageress she’s a nice polite lady and gives time for you as valued client, (this pays off) I tried to get an extra day a the special rate however she explained very well why it wasn’t possible at that monument, very quiet place this was one of my, only prob kitchen area light and a power outlet wasn’t working . Not terrible not great. Probably a 2.5 rating to Be honest. Staff ok. Not very friendly. No bar or even coffee available to buy. Overall very much I’m need of modernisation. Rooms were clean and functional but the shower was the worst o have ever experienced in my life!

A great weeks holiday in the sunny Portuguese resort of Albufeira to look forward to ,weather amazing, transfer from Faro Airport to O Luna Hotel Da Oura was seamless, booked in quickly by very friendly staff and allocated a twin room on 3rd floor ,room was really good, spacious, comfortable beds ,lots of storage space ,flat screen tv,lots of British channels ,tea & coffee making facilities, cooker,microwave, toaster so if you want you can prepare own food ,balcony very cool ,rooms cleaned to a high standard, couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was really good, a great selection of hot and cold options ,bars were also good ,beer served iced cold and sparkling, swimming pool not massive but big enough, loved my daily swim here and staff super lovely ,location could not be better, close to Strip and not far from Old Town Albufeira, lots of pubs,bars, cafe's and restaurants all around this hotel ,loved my week here ,will definitely be rebooking next year .

When me and my twin brother were staying in Albufeira we stayed in the Luna Hotel Da Oura on R.de Dunfermline.This hotel is only a short walk away from the main strip were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and a fifteen minute walk to Albufeira's old town. The hotel has a nice reception area and a superb outside swimming pool and there's an indoor pool.The room we had (336) was clean and spacious (a little dated) but very well presented.The bed's were brilliant and the rooms cleaned everyday.The breakfast was varied and filling and the staff were 1st rate. A superb hotel in a superb area of this very lively resort and on our next visit to here we will stay in this fantastic hotel again.(This is my first review of the Luna Hotel Da Oura).

This hotel is okay, close to the strip, with loads of restaurants nearby. The pool area is nice but the water is freezing! The younger members of staff were very nice, but the older ones on reception in particular were just incredibly rude, looking down on people who were just here to have a good time. When they could be bothered to glance up at us from being on their mobile phones they just looked at us like we were a hinderance. These people should not be working in hospitality.
