I don’t like that type of room, where there is an outside entrance. It should be stated on your site.

Property was noisy especially the room alot of road noise early in the morning they were doing construction jack hammers started check in was really slow I wouldn't stayed there irlf I knew all the construction was going on

In spite of our reservation being non-refundable by the time we arrived, we did not even get out of the car to check in. What is not shown in the photos is that many (if not all) of the rooms have doors that open to the outside, like you see in roadside motels. I personally do not feel safe staying in that kind of room. It is also located on a very busy/loud intersection- I can only imagine the noise carries into the rooms themselves.
Fortunately there are plenty of other properties nearby and we were able to get a nice room elsewhere. I’m very surprised La Quinta puts their name on this property. May have to take them off my list of places we’ll stay.

Property is under construction. Front desk area is a nightmare. Late night kid was rude and mumbled. He got visibly angry when i asked him to repeat himself. I couldn't hear him over the loud hum of the refrigerator in the middle of the lobby.

The place was under renovation so it would be unfair to judge. Easy check in. VERY clean room. VERY comfortable beds. I wish i stayed there longer.

The reception area is being remodeled and you still check in there it is dusty and the grab and go breakfast isn't great at all. They should just close until the remodeling is over with really.

This place reminded me of war-torn Syria, with open wiring hanging, plywood walls/flooring/desk, outdoor walkways, dirty, stained carpets/flooring/tubs, no amenities...and the front desk workers (apart from struggling to speak English) had such bad body odor that I had to stand back from the counter 6 feet or else I might vomit.
I lost the 2nd night's payment and left to go somewhere else. To say "avoid" this place is an understatement. Run AWAY! Embarrassing the LaQuinta would put their name on this dump.

It would have been nice to know that construction was being done at the hotel before booking the room. The front area was awkward to get around.

We flew in to ABQ late (11:45 p.m.) and had to go get our car. We were VERY tired. I had called earlier to reconfirm.
Once we arrived we noticed the hotel and office were under construction. They DID have our reservation however once we arrived in our room the beds were unmade and there was a cigarette hole in the mattress. I had to go back to the office. They gave me another room (1:00 a.m. by now) and we went. The bathroom was very small and dirty (hairs on the floor) but the bed looked good so we stayed. We were exhausted.
