Comfortable room, nice staff, river views of Spain's Sanlucar de Guadiana makes this hotel thoroughly worthwhile, even if it is located a bit out of the old town of Alcoutim (10-15 minutes walk).

As other reviews describe this is a good Hotel, lovely position on the river. Comfy bed, nice rooms. Paula the afternoon receptionist was a joy checking us in. Pool clean and just warm enough :-) Easy flat walk to town and loved the Zip wire (Spain to Portugal across the river) - great fun, well organised.

Comfortable room, nice staff, river views of Spain's Sanlucar de Guadiana makes this hotel thoroughly worthwhile, even if it is located a bit out of the old town of Alcoutim (10-15 minutes walk). It is a great location if you also plan to hike up to the old castle. Certainly, great value for the money!

Absolutely excellent throughout, I recommend it to everyone, the staff, the hotel itself, cleanliness, situation, amenities all first class. Definitely booking again. There is absolutely nothing to fault or criticise.

A really nice hotel perfectly siutuated on the river and close to the small but pretty town of Alcoutim. Very reasonable rates and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again

A beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting. If you want a calm, relaxed holiday then this hotel is perfect! We knew the location of the hotel as we have visited the Algarve over 20 times hence why we hired a car. The food was really good, all home made with lots of flavour, we particularly enjoyed the toasties and cakes (carrot cake was the best). Simple rooms with extremely comfy beds, air con and a view of the river. Would definitely return in the future.

This is a great adult escape.
Views are stunning and Alcoutim is un-tourist.
Great place to do nothing or walk the hills... take a book.

Fantastic hotel with a lovely view from the rooms. Huge saltwater pool and we’ll priced food and drinks in the bar.
