Overall our stay was good, but not perfect.
The room was relatively small, especially the bathroom, but the price for this hotel is definitely lower than many other hotels in the city center, so it’s a good place to stay if you are not planning to spend much time indoors. They also have other options.
Cleaning was good and responsive.
location: also nice and convenient, great 360 view from the rooftop, and rooms with Mountain View.
Breakfast: food was rather good, wide choice of European food with many vegetarian options and some local highlights, but at the peak time there are too few plates and cups for every guest. The dining area is comfortable and spacious.
Front desk: some of the staff were very responsive and polite, but there was an uncomfortable situation, when the keycards stopped working before 12 am, and I had to go back downstairs fix them twice, and I was told that the cards do not work because we have a check out today (?!) ( it was still before 12 and moreover we had a late check out so it shouldn’t have happened that early anyways, even if we had to leave on that day the keys should have been working until we check out). The same with the safe deposit — our password was changed automatically with our belongings stuck inside and we had to wait for master to deal with it. Little things that were quite disturbing.

酒店真的垃圾的要死，付了2倍的價格800多住進來，房間很小很壓抑不説，沒有垃圾桶，電話不能用，打掃衞生要靠叫，吹風機也是20年前那種，都不如用嘴吹。跟前台反饋問題愛答不理，甩給一張名片讓打電話投訴，接過電話還沒人接！真的是去過這麼多國家住的最差的一家酒店了！

Iconic Soviet built hotel located in the touristy part of Almaty. A short walk from the cable car station for Kok Tobe. The exterior is imposing, the rooms and fixtures inside are starting to show age. I was allocated a suite on the top floor which had a great view of the mountains. There was only one aircon unit for the suite which was located in the seating room and not in the bedroom, however the windows open fully and I preferred fresh air so it was no issue for me. Breakfast was decent for a hotel of this scale.

출장 목적으로 방문했는데 전반적인 분위기나 시설, 서비스, 방의 청결도 등 특별히 문제될 부분은 없었습니다.
기본적으로 데스크 직원들 모두 친절했고, 조식 메뉴도 다양하고 맛도 무난하게 좋았습니다.
다만, 공항에서 거리가 좀 있는 점 참고하세요.

I always stay at this hotel, as the buffet breakfast is just amazing and the location is great. The staff are helpful and polite. Of course the rooms of the hotel do need to be refurbished, but the beds are very comfortable indeed and it is clean and has all the necessary amenities.

Arrived at check-in late thanks to a taxi driver who dropped me off at the wrong hotel first. By the time I was issued my key and told where my room could be found. The first problem happened at the elevator which your room card key is needed to get the elevator to the floors with guest rooms. In my case that was the 22nd floor. A kind fellow guest used his key to activate the elevator for me and I arrived at my room... where I found my key didn't work! Back down to the 1st floor and to get a new key programed. When I got back to the room I literally collapsed on one of the most comfortable beds I have ever seen in the last 3 years. When I woke I found the complementary amenities to be well thought and situated. Check out was at 12:00 and if it wasn't so far from the airport I would highly recommended it!

Good location. Nice city view (15-24th floors)
The room is clean. Different types of pillows. Breakfast is various and fresh.

蘇氏的五星級酒店，房間的裝修很老舊，但是房間的空間很大，地理位置優越，交通非常方便。早餐很豐盛，味道也不錯。
