Was ok the room. Tiny bit out dated but not bad to stay for one night. Staff was helpful.

If it wasn't so close to an evening event with family, I'd have looked elsewhere. The bathroom is minute, and any average sized person will have a problem. The addition of the restaurant for breakfast was a nice change, but it's an order only weekend instead of a buffet. And free parking at this Premier Inn.

As others have said, the building is a bit tired and old BUT our room was spotless, had a great shower, absolutely quiet overnight and slept perfectly. Plus the lady on the desk was lovely and really helpful. Very happy to come and stay here again. Recommended if you want to break your journey when heading west.

Nice big room, airy, plenty of hot water, clean. BUT the shower was clogged with slime, old hair, and black matter. I spent 10 minutes on my knees, dry heaving, cleaning it out of the filter — can't have been done in months — just to stop the bathroom flooding for a second time. That was really, really grim. Had there been a member of staff on reception, I'd have asked for a refund. A basic AirBnB would have cost half as much and I wouldn't have had to dynorod the bathroom.

The managers are helpful very friendly always willing to help. Receptionists and housekeepers are very friendly. Breakfast is very nice wide variety value for money. Rooms are to a high standard and beds are very comfortable good night sleep. Plenty of parking

I say the words despite it being an older premier inn sounds insulting but it is in need of an update. There are no usb plugs, the balcony doors(don’t know if they all have them) needs updating, feels very flimsy security wise, the way the showers are, you have to get wet turning it on, you cannot move the shower glass at all. But better for maybe older people as there’s a tiny step in. Great breakfast set-up, no need to exit the building. The staff were great and helpful. Don’t think the a/c worked either, not a prob literally as was November and heaters were provided.

Very affordable and conveniently located to meet our needs. The free WiFi is slow but sufficient for browsing. The decor is a bit dated, but you get what you pay for (£35 per night is very affordable, after all). The staff at the reception are extremely friendly and helpful - receptionist Ania is an asset! Breakfast was “delicious” (according to my wife, as I had to leave before 7am and didn’t have a chance to try it).

The building is old and looks from the outside like a 1960's motel style. We nearly drove past as it didn't look occupied. Reception gave a warm welcome. Room disappointing. Comfortable bed and good choice at breakfast which are the two most important. However the room was dated and felt a bit grubby. Cheap net curtain just stretched across the window with old worn curtains.Carpet grubby, skirting dirty. Bathroom floor grubby and even the loo wasn't properly cleaned. We didn't use the shower because it didn't feel very clean. The main positive though was that the staff were friendly, it was quiet and we had a decent sleep.
