Not sure if he was the general manager or head of the reception was not accommodating at all like he did not want guests there despite a receptionist was willing to assist
The GM had like a stone face !

We stayed here for a second time the first time six years ago. We had a great time, it’s generally clean, tidy and pleasant. A lot of bugs, flies and mosquitoes, we were bit quite a lot, this was our fifth stop and we had not encountered so many bugs. The food is good and plentiful, buffet style. I would recommend you use an anti mosquito spray, wear long trousers, socks and if possible long sleeves. It’s an ideal place to tour the park and we saw plenty of animals including Cheaters, lots of elephants and so much more.

The hotel is amazing. Sadly the pool was under maintenance but lovely property nonetheless. Super helpful and courteous staff. Shoutout to Noah (at the bar), Yvonne (at the restaurant) & Chef Richard & Jeramiah for being so hospitable. One drawback would be not having a bidet (jet spray) in the washroom. Indian’s are only used to cleaning after their bathroom use with water. Please accommodate.

Pro. - an overwhelming location with different public and private areas - well maintained garden area like in the botanic garden - nice wall paintings and good view of the nature - well cooked food with bunches of choices - friendly service from all lodge service teams

Very good safari hotel in the heart of Amboseli which was an amazing national park. I wish I could have stayed longer within the park. As per all the hotels I stayed in in Kenya the breakfast omelette was fantastic but unfortunately the evening food wasn’t as good as the other hotel I stayed in.

My wife and me stayed in the resort from 24/02/24 to 26/02/24 during our long African Safari Programme and enjoyed the resort to our fullest satisfaction. The ambiance and all the staff members were so nice in their behaviour and attitude. Specially the evening tea/coffee session at the lobby end was so enjoyable. The gift shop at the resort also has good collection and we collected some of our mementoes from there. hope to visit again. My many many thanks to Mufasa Tours and Travels for getting me the resort and providing me a great Guide and Safari Driver Mr. Collins who has the extremely good knowledge of all the intricacies and details of all the National Parks in Kenya

Owesome but too old fashioned. Amazing food and staff. Rusty feel, emulates masaai bomas. Heated pool, good in groups no few of the mount ftom the rooms. Bush meals at extra cost. Ideal for all ages meals on buffet located inside the national park

We stayed two nights at Amboseli Serena. We loved the hotel and its situation. The lodges are very spread-out, so that you do not feel that it is a hotel. We went with as two couples, unfortunaetly, we were given rooms at opposite ends of the site. Make sure that you contact the hotel before you travel to make sure that you ask for adjacent rooms, if you are in the same situation. Just because you are together on the booking, doesn't mean that you will be treated as two couples. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of our party had a 70th birthday and the staff delivered the cake as a part of a 'conga' of people all singing. It was a wonderful event. The food was varied, well cooked and plentiful.
