Cretan Village Hotel

It was my first time visiting Greece and I was definitely not disappointed. The hotel really deserves 4*. The environment is large and maintained. The food did not disappoint either. There are several pools, not one or two bars. We liked the bar the most, Nagy and Popi, the bartenders working by the pool just down from the reception. Special thanks to them. Very kind and attentive to everyone. Best wishes! Animation in the evenings is more focused on the Italian audience. Sometimes you didn't even understand what was happening, because practically everything is in Italian.

A total disaster. Old and rundown structure. The apt was facing a parking lot. The terrace (3sq meters) had 1 plastic chair for 4 people, the bathroom was dirty the shower no tent. The swimming pool leaves your feet blue. sun chairs broken. Lousy breakfast. Rude manager

Lovely place, lovely people. Not their fault it was raining. There is no indoor pool at Cretan village, surprising as it is so large. Nowhere for people to go when the sun is not shining. Covered bar next to reception not open through the day, bit of a con having only the pool bars open when the weather is bad, Only one bus a day to Heraklion 9.15am back at 13.30pm. when you get to town, go upstairs, shops to the right by the large bank. Resort could be doing with more transport options and times. Rooms are nice. Aircon not on in may. Now I know how. Mattress on beds are Hard, credit due they did replace the mattress after I asked for a mattress topper. Again hard mattress a shame, pillows hard too. Nevermind. Lovely tidy resort meals were great, signed up to mitsis club. Our two alacarte meals at pergola and the beach restaurant were excellent, not to be missed. Received a Nice going away present, Entertainment was good at the covered terrace bar. But with only 3 people serving drinks, most people were queuing properly and having to wait from 20 to 30mins. While others were jumping in all over the bar. Just trouble waiting to happen and so off putting. Should be 4 serving 2x2 and queuing from left and the right side. Just fair and organised. Had a lovely time just the scramble to get served at the terrace waisted it. Would recommend a well-run hotel.

Hello!! rested at the Cretan villige Beach hotel 4`stars from october 2-8.2022.Thia is my best holiday this year.The territory of the hotel is beautiful..The view of the sea is amazing.espessialy pleased with the terrace in the room!! its so great! I liked a lot,starting with the cleanness in the rooms(higth-quiality cleaning every day),The food(a lot of fish ,natural Greek products and the service and menu in ala carte) and the service of the admin Guests relations Anastasia Prach( professionalism and attentive attitude to the hotel guests),I will come to Cretan Village again, Best wishes Natli from tallinn

This was the best place to stay I really liked animators at this hotel. Best place to stay for a family holidays. They have amazing food drinks very nice personal. I really recommend this hotel even for business trips solo holidays. They are the best hotel on Crete. ❤️❤️

Hôtel fort sympathique et très bien situé. Parti avec Coralia,a refaire. Cadre parfait et les équipes compétent a tout les niveaux. Les excursions sont tous simplement magnifique. Une semaine est un peu juste, vaudrait partir une dizaine de jours.

Jolie charme belle prestation pour l époque mais dommage que ce village vacances soit en voie de vieillissement. Nous avons rencontré plusieurs problèmes du a son âge mais le personnel a tout de suite réagi. Le personnel est très agréable et je tiens à remercier NAGI pour son grand cœur et son service envers la clientèle une personne très respectueuse et travailleuse je ne l oublierai jamais et merci aussi à ELLIE pour sa bonté et son grand cœur ainsi que ces conseils et bien entendu au personnel d animation DOUDOU et SACHA merci à vous tous pour ces beaux moments de partage Vous êtes une super équipe. Merci pour tout.

Sono venuta qui con un gruppo di amici, 8 famiglie con figli per la precisione, e la mia famiglia è ha pagato il prezzo più alto per una tipologia di appartamento/camera inferiore (grazie a ***********). nella descrizione dei servizi erano incluse cose che Nella realtà non ci sono, una su tutte la zona pranzo all’aperto. La camera che mi è stata assegnata non ha neanche un minimo spazio all’esterno, la porta si apre su una strada asfaltata che da sul parcheggio. È impossibile anche solo pensare di sedersi fuori visto il caldo che c’è sempre, fin dalle prime ore del mattino. Non c’è un filo di verde o un albero che faccia un po’ di ombra. La tv in dotazione non funziona (ce n’è anche una anteguerra che ovviamente non prende un canale). L’angolo cottura è costituito da due piastre elettriche difficili da usare e che rendono rovente tutto il piano d’appoggio circostante. La doccia non ha nemmeno una tendina intorno quindi, a meno che non si faccia tanta attenzione, quando ci si lava si allaga il bagno. Una delle due camere da letto era inutilizzabile a causa del caldo tremendo, sembrava una sauna, priva di aria condizionata e con una piccola finestra affacciata su un muro , quindi impossibile far circolare l’aria. Le foto sul sito non rispecchiano assolutamente la realtà. La struttura è talmente deludente che abbiamo deciso di partire due giorni prima (saremmo ripartiti anche prima se avessimo trovato il volo). Adesso capisco perché la proprietaria all’arrivo pretende subito il saldo della prenotazione, probabilmente le capita spesso di avere persone che vanno via prima. La piscina sarebbe carina se non fosse in pessime condizioni (lettini di legno senza materasso, i pochi col materasso erano sporchissimi, non ho avuto il coraggio di appoggiare nemmeno l’asciugamano. Colazione scarsa, chiude alle 9:30 e guai a presentarsi anche solo un minuto dopo, vi portano via i vassoi da sotto il naso. Insomma la mia esperienza è stata terribile e non consiglio assolutamente questa struttura (né tantomeno *********** che si è totalmente disinteressato della questione).
