This property is beautiful and the staff are hardworking and kind. The overwater bungalows are luxurious and everything you are hoping for. I felt like the dining options left something to be desired. For the price I expected much more. The food was less inventive than I could get at home but 3x the cost. My recommendation would be to order most of your meals as room service and enjoy your room. One breakfast is more than enough for two, for example, and nothing beats the view from your room. One word of warning just generally for those coming to bora bora and staying at the large resorts—the experience feels very « canned ». I think a lot of ppl coming here like that—they don’t want to experience another culture or learn new things about the area etc, they want to stay in their insulated bubble and that’s fine, but just know that that’s what this is. It’s beautiful, luxurious, and made specifically for outsiders to relax and not see any of the « real » bora bora, kinda like White Lotus lol. If you’re not that kind of traveler, I would suggest splitting your time here and at another island like taha’a, which is what we did. We stayed on a motu there for a few days and on bora bora for a few days and did both, and met some great friends and had some unique experiences. Overall, would recommend this resort!
