房間很大，設施很新，衹是浴室的洗澡沒有固定擋水。 很值得居住停留、發呆、冥想、放鬆…如果要spa & massage 要提前預約，太難約了。 食品沒得説～就是frash & perfect。 照片的白色房子就是酒店的後面，一個很寧靜的大湖，清澈，空氣瀰漫著淡淡的花香與草味…很大自然！ 基本都是挪威人度假，當時沒有遇見咱們同胞旅行者，如世外桃源❤️

Looking for a local weekend solution, we had been advised this hotel was a great choice. This is a perfect location, by the fjord, and with a large amount of history from 1500. The staff on check in / out were perfect, the restaurant facilities with lounge/bar are very well designed - from the original stile. We had room 110 at the end of the building on the ground floor, with a small but large enough terrase, though the room had no TV - not that that was a problem, WiFi was very good and had no problem watching any TV channel. The swimming pool / plunge pool - very good facilities. Will be back.

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and the views of the fjord are fantastic. The small pool and saunas were also very nice. There were a couple shortcomings worth mentioning. We had absolutely no Wifi connection in our room and couldn't get a signal in the reception area either. This is annoying when you are trying to make further travel arrangements. The English language version of their website listed a much lower price for the dinner. It's now a month later and they still have updated the price.

Great and friendly staff! Effortless check-in and nice rooms. Very cosy and pleasant lounge area. Pool time included, a small but hot pool with a panoramic view of the fjord. No TV, but OK. Not the best internet connection in our room, and zero pictures on the walls. No problem, the view was great. The food in the restaurant was world class! Especially the exquisit wine/food combinations.

In short, nothing but fantastic! This hotel with it’s location, splendid service, excellent rooms and restaurant offer is all amazing. In connection with the hotel is also a spa and a museum, both of very high standard. The museum is telling the industrial story of Angvik, and when there go see it! Outside the hotel you have the seaside where they offer boats that visitors can use and go fishing in, and when back again the art gallery can be enjoyed. One of Norways best hotels and and I will keep visiting when I am in this part of Norway. To the team at Angvik Gamle Handelssted - thank you!

My family and I spent one night at the hotel in July. We got to try the 5-course dinner and a 2-course lunch, as well as we got to experience the breakfast. Everything was great, I cannot mention one single thing that was not perfect or did not meet my expectations. The staff were service-minded and were always to help if there was something. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And maybe the best aspect of the hotel is the location and hotel in itself. To just sit down outside in the sun with a drink, take a bath from the dock, take a walk along the seaside, that was wonderful. The food also was excellent. Overall, my family and I had an incredible experience.

Great stay, we were welcomed very warmly. They would have a lot if activities such as bike and boats, however we did not use that. Spa area is quite small, but we were the only ones inside. Unfortunately only set menu available for dinner.

Indeed, spectacular environment, beautiful lodging, but dinner, whilst very good, is the epitome of ridicule. They insist 8pm, 8:15 will not do. Soup/appetizer is served at 8:40. Main course at 9:15. Of course I couldn’t wait another hour for dessert. Imposed menu and wine, no alternatives. I may come back, but will eat elsewhere.

Angvik Gamle Handelsted has transformed into an impressive high class quality hotel with luxury dining. When you enter the gates outside the hotel you immediately get the high class feeling and nothing here comes by accident. The well preserved historical buildings and the modern new parts melt so well together. There are historical pieces around you, yet fresh modern rooms and facilities, delicately decorated with passion and style. The hallway to our room was over the glass walled bridge where the wall and the sofa blends together discretely. We sat out on the quay enjoying the buildings, the quiet waters and the views before we prepared for the 5 course set dinner menu in the delicate restaurant. We had the wine menu to go with it and it is highly recommendable. A 5 star meal prepared and composed with passion. Baked trout from the start and filet of Limousin beef as main course. some good local cheeses and a delicious mix of mousse and ice for dessert alongside a nice ruby port. This is a place to bring your spouse for a relaxed high class luxury weekend. We did not visit the SPA area, but will do next time we come and stay longer. The hotel area also has a very nice museum part presenting in a well organised way the history of Angvik and what the generations before had completed. Very impressive place. High quality through passion for details. We will be back to enjoy more.
