Rental basis: Entire house or apartment Number of bedrooms: 3; Number of other rooms with beds: 0 The living room is spacious and has a direct acces to a fenced garden and its terraces at a canal. The modern and fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of space and is open to the living and dining area. The Dijkrose holiday home offers 3 bedrooms. Downstairs is a bedroom with a double bed of 140 wide. The other bedrooms are upstairs, one with 2 single beds and one with a comfortable double bed. The bathroom with toilet and shower is situated at the ground floor. (Outdoor area:) The fenced garden is well equipped with garden furniture and offers a splendid view on the dike, frequently grazed by a herd of sheep in sping- and summertime. Grilling is possible, but there is no bbq available. Parking space is available at the property. (Distinctive features:) Dijkrose offers satellite TV, a washing machine and baby cot and high chair are available on request. Pets are welcome if registered in advance. We do charge 5 euro a day for each pet. Smoking is not allowed in the house. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here.
