Just got back from my stay at Almyrida Village and Waterpark! It was a lovely experience overall, but I wanted to share some thoughts to help others considering this resort. While the setting is beautiful, it might not be the best fit for those with mobility challenges. There are quite a few steps and steep ramps around the resort, so it's something to keep in mind. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the swimming pool as much as I'd hoped because it lacked handlebars near the steps, which made exiting a bit tricky, the water was considerably cold. Also, despite being advertised as a 4-star resort, it felt more like a 3-star in terms of amenities and maintenance. The rooms were a bit dated, and my friend even had some issues ie no hot water and lights in their bathroom, but they decided to grin and bear it rather than make a fuss. We opted not to go for the all-inclusive package, and I'm glad we didn't. The food options were limited, and what was supposed to be hot often ended up lukewarm at best. One day, we even decided to have lunch at the hotel, and found it overpriced for what it was. However, the staff truly shone throughout our stay. They were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. There was no evening entertainment, or activities ie aqua aerobics etc. during the day. It’s a quiet resort which suited me but if you are looking for clubbing then this is not the place or the town. The town and beach are just a short walk away, offering plenty of dining options and a couple of supermarkets. The walk back to the resort does have a bit of a hill, but nothing too strenuous. Despite its flaws, we still managed to have a great time, thanks in part to the friendly a**osphere and the wonderful people we met during our stay.
