Windmill Bay Hotel

A very nice hotel, modern, great view at the sea and pool, booked bed & breakfast. Very friendly personel, always supportful, and good food. Special thanks to the 3 women that handled breakfast & drinks / food at the pool. In the morning they arranged a perfect breakfast, fruit, break, eggs / omelet, sweeties, thee, coffee, juices for all those 'hungry' Dutch & English guests. They also cleaned up everything and served with a smile the guests at the pool. A big thank you for the great care. Of course I miss others that were less visible (kitchen personnel, etc) but all made my stay at Windmill Bay very pleasant!.

Our first time to Argassi and to Celebrate my 60th Birthday we chose this Exceptional Hotel and Upgraded to a Ground floor suite with Jacuzzi (which we made Full use of every evening with a nightcap or 3 😉) The rooms were Beautiful and very luxurious. We had 2 giant tv's but never turned them on. Lovely Nespresso coffee machine with new pods daily. Clean towels every day. Pool towels provided for our lovely comfy sun loungers in out private garden. Very Comfy bed. Nice sofa bed and chair bed in the lounge with Ample storage in a lovely fitted wardrobe complete with Free safe plus an (unused) iron and ironing board. The shower room was massive with a Beautiful rain shower and gawjuss toiletries provided. Excellent Quiet aircon! The staff were So Friendly and very helpful Especially Effie who was involved in the modernisation of the hotel. We stayed in room 103 which had the First rays of sun of the day before anyone else and it lasted almost all day. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices including fresh fruit and fresh baked rolls etc. The restaurant was a delight! We ate here several evenings and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also went to a few restaurants nearby which were Also Very good. I have mobility problems but managed the 15/20 mins stroll to get to them. The pavements are quite narrow though and the traffic was pretty fast going by. The hotel is on a bus route and the bus stop not far from the hotel, we didn't use it though. Sadly no beach as such But for me it was lovely seeing the sea and hearing the waves especially at sunrise before the restaurant opened. Magical place that we are looking to return too in October fingers crossed 🤞

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in total, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is amazing, the staff are fantastic and will do anything to help you. The reception staff are always helpful and even called a taxi for us when needed. Our room was perfect with a powerful shower, comfy bed and daily cleaning. They also provide you with free toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine too use. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaners work very hard to achieve this standard. Breakfast was nice and the location is right on the beach.

Lovely hotel. Food was really good. Staff were very friendly. The rooms were immaculate with fresh towels every day. Not fighting for sunbeds. Would recommend this hotel. Argassi is a great little resort with lots of choice for both bars and restaurants.

The Windmill Bay is a great Hotel. We had a wonderful time. The Hotel is spotless and all the staff are friendly, attentive and professional especially Helen who managed the breakfast and bar area during the day. If we return to zakynthos again it will be to the Windmill Bay.

Lovely suite with views over the pool and the sea - balcony caught early morning sun. Felt this hotel definitely catered to the German market, especially the very continental type buffet breakfast which at best was adequate - definitely not great after 14 days - the pastries tended to be undercooked as was the one and only lunch we ordered and paid for - the pizza was raw on the bottom. The staff were mainly lovely but we were unfortunately blanked by one of the young waitresses on our last morning just as we were about to leave tips….. strange behaviour as we hadn’t said or done anything to cause this, we were always polite and never complained about anything (not even the undercooked food).

This is an excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was of adequate size but with limited side table storage and no drawers in the dressing table. On the plus side the bathroom fittings were of a high standard and the shower was excellent; also coffee/tea facilities included a coffee maker. Good cold fridge with water bottle on arrival. Room staff arrived every day to clean/tidy room and change towels. Free safety deposit box was a bonus. Lovely view from balcony with comfortable chairs. Pool area was busy most days so to ensure a sunbed it was necessary to place towel before breakfast, though there was an additional lovely quiet lawn area with plenty of spare sunbeds and parasols. Breakfast was adequate with continental or cooked but no fresh fruit; just apples/bananas and dry oranges. Next to a busy road so could hear traffic noise whilst in bed on a morning but not noticeable on balcony or around the pool area. Plenty of tavernas within 10/15 mins walk on a narrow footpath most of the way. Very difficult to access the sea from the hotel grounds as the steps lead down to a rocky area covered in rotting sea****, which appears to be the case all the way to Argassi village so those seeking a beach holiday should probably look elsewhere.

This was my first solo trip and picked this beautiful hotel. Effie in reception was welcoming, attentive and knowledgable. I pre requested my room to be a end of building room but wasn't so lucky to get it but the room I did get was three doors from the end. The room was clean, fresh and just so comfortable. The towels smell divine and the toiletries are excellent quality. The room has an ironing board and full sized iron. The balcony also has a clothes airer for wet towels and swim wear. Other guests had blue towels for the pool side, I didn't receive one in my room but had my own so used that. The bed is big and lush. The staff work exceedingly hard to keep the place to standards, well done. Also, the lovely, experienced Thanos behind the bar from 4pm, please try his "make me a drink" special, he will not disappoint you. I had a different cocktail every night and was not disappointed, not once. Sun beds around the pool are ample however there was wet patches on the grass area but guess that can no be helped. The breakfast has lots to offer, all well presented. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Im so pleased to have pick this hotel for my first solo travels and first visit to Greece. I was very well looked after. My experience was exceptional.

We are currently staying at this hotel and cannot fault it. We have had a fabulous week & looking forward to the remaining 3 days. The rooms are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The quality of the towels, robes, bedding and toiletries is excellent. The pool is area is fabulous and very clean. Every night the pool is cleaned & the greens are watered. The food in the restaurant is Al a carte and to a very high standard. The amount of choice at breakfast is plentiful and caters for all needs. Finally, the staff are friendly, helpful and nice to be around. They seem passionate about the hotel and provide a great service. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel and you can see by the guests that they appreciate this hotel. We will definitely be returning. Thanks guys for a great stay at your hotel,
