Xalet Besolí

We stayed at Xalet Besoli in March 2024 and we had a fantastic time. We booked through Crystal Ski and it was really good value. Walking distance to the funicular. Especially a huge ‘thank you’ to the staff, they were excellent! I am coeliac and the waitress was incredibly attentive to my gluten intolerance, available every evening to explain all dishes that were gluten free and I could eat, very impressed. It was a lovely stay and would come again.

We stayed here 17th -24th march whilst on ski trip with crystal ski. This is a lovely little hotel tucked away just of the main road. It is nice and quiet in the evenings, and nice and warm to keep you cosy at all times. Breakfast is self service continental style daily, and the evening meals, being 3 course are of multiple choice, and are all very tasty.. "Soledad" the receptionist, was very welcoming, pleasant and very helpful at all times. This is a really good value hotel not to be overlooked. We will be back!

Pleasent staff very welcoming and always smiling ,nothing to much off a problem,food excellent always fresh and very well presented ,hot water and clean laundry ,clean rooms,excellent location to the town centre very reasonably priced

Had a fabulous stay at the Xalet Besolí Service, food and cleanliness was excellent for the week we stayed while skiing. Short walk to gondola! Excellent, we’ll be back!! Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms warm and clean We also got lots of snow while here so skiing was exceptional

The hotel is a tucked away gem. But 19 min walk to gondola and only 5 minute walk to fantastic entertainment. Rooms kept immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel staff are attentive and friendly. Reception are always helpful. The restaurant staff are truly incredible and the food and service is of a high standard. We will definitely book again

The staff were wonderfully friendly, especially the lovely waitresses. The reception and bar area were clean and modern. The restaurant was a bit more traditional but clean and homely. The food was good, and they tried exceptionally hard to adapt the menu for me (vegan) and my fussy teenage vegetarian daughters. Some days they pulled this off better than others, but we were never hungry. The room was quite cramped for the 4 of us, a fold out sofa bed and two singles in a long narrow room but we coped. The bathroom was spacious with the "best shower we have ever had" said one of my daughters. The chalet was about half a mile up hill walk to the Gondola which didn't matter in the end as they closed them the day we got there and we had to be bused to neighbouring resort and the bus stop was at the bottom of the hill. They had skilockers you could hire for €10 deposit too. I have read complaints of the hotel being noisy, this was not our experience but this may be because we were end of season. We had a bit of noise on our second to last night from the room above from some enthusiastic children who had just arrived but apart from that it was quite quiet. All in all a lovely stay, good value, we would return but probably not so late in the season.

Had a lovely stay at Besoli. Rooms were basic but large and very clean. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Breakfast was continental and plentifully, Evening meal was 3 choices for each course of 3 courses. We really loved the food, always plenty, duck confit was exceptional. Free ski locker was useful. We had to be bussed to Arcalis each day as Arinsal closed its slopes, so hotel moved breakfast earlier so we could eat before we had to catch bus, very nice of them, thank you. We had a really great stay.

We had a great week staying at the chalet Besoli. The hotel is immaculately clean, warm and friendly. They staff were all wonderful. The food was delicious. A very good breakfast and a really tasty 3 course dinner. The drinks were also very reasonably priced. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. As other people have said if you rent a locker the 10 minute walk to the gondola really isn't a problem.

We stayed at the Besoli for a week of great skiing and were over the moon with the warm friendly folks from the hotel. We had a family room for 2 adults, 2 kids with a balcony. Room was cleaned every day, my kids loved the breakfast- loads of choice, and the dinner options were very good. The bar was cheap and we were handed a decent breakfast on the move for our return to Barcelona, very kind! I would recommend this hotel for a family. It is true value for money and you could clearly see the staff cared. 10 minutes from the gondola- rent a locker at the ski center @€80, we’ll worth it.
