I stayed there with my GF last December and the stay here was one of the highlights of the 2 week trip. Room very comfortable and well furnished. The public area and grounds was very nice. The staff very friendly and so accommodating. Made to order breakfast was great. The owner PJ was very nice and took great care of us and even brought us on safari in his Tuk Tuk. Danish Villa is very conveniently located, short walk to the beach and many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Potuvill Lagoon boat trip was very enjoyable to view elephants, birds and all types of fauna and wildlife. Also went on the Kumana Yala Safari nearby which we thoroughly enjoyed even though we did not see any leopards but did see many other animals including elephants, wild boar, deer, and buffalo Can't wait to go back again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here when we first arrived at Arugum bay. It is on a very spacious land, with the rooms placed further in the back hidden from the road and away from all the noise. There are nice seating area inside and outside, a hammock, kitchen, drinking water, space if you want to walk around, and it is still very convenient to the main road and center (5min walk). There are books, and games to entertain yourself with. They also have a tuk-tuk available so you won't have to barter. We had a minor issue initially, but the manager and owner handled it effectively and efficiently, which we highly appreciated and loved. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who visits.

The room in the separate villa was spacious compared to the smaller one within the lodge but both were clean, comfortable and good value for money with good AC and fan. The clean kitchen was good for self catering as well as being located in the centre of Arugum Bay with abundant eateries. Surprisingly quiet and private, nicely tucked away at the back of the long gated property. Only 5 minute walk to the beach. Helpful staff always maintaining the peaceful ambience.

If you wish to spend your time in a quiet, well-protected, delicate, in all meaning comfortable accommodation in Arugam, you found it. What I love and appreciate the most, -besides of the huge front and back garden, full with tropical flowers and palm trees,-that all tiny detail of the accommodation is well-thought, delicate for the purpose to serve you in the most efficient way. Congrats, PJ and all the staff!

Sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer die sauber sind. Traumhafter Garten der zum entspannen einlädt. Liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein Der strand ist sehr nah. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden
