We spent a lovely weekend at Zum Goldenen Ochsen while visiting friends in Aschaffenburg. The room was spacious, incredibly clean and stylish. It had an excellent bathroom with a fabulous shower and heated towel rack. We slept very well appreciating the quality of the bed and linen. Every morning we enjoyed a breakfast offering that kept every appetite and preference happy. Professional and friendly staff met our every need. Thank you to everyone at the Golden Ox for making our stay so relaxing and luxurious.

We had a very nice stay in Zum Goldenen Ochsen hotel while on holidays in Bavaria during July. The hotel is to a high standard with a good size room and helpful service. It has a good location withing walking distance of the train station as well as the Altstadt with good restaurant & beer garden choices nearby, Stephen, Cork, Ireland

Very nice and comfortable, walking distance both to the main train station and the city centre. Room also very nice and comfortable... wide, clean and also at a reasonable price. A place to recommend!

Very friendly staff! We speak very little German and they were able to help us out. Great location! I walked every where while my husband worked and it was very easy to get around. They do have a small parking lot for guest to park in as well.

The property is certainly an old school European style regional hotel. Small and quaint. The “executive business” room was more of a dorm room with a single twin bed. It had a safe, which was good, but the locks are keyed. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. No microwave in room and minibar fridge was super small.

we spent a couple of wonderful nights at the hotel - we are completely satisfied especially the breakfast is worth mentioning. thank you we will gladly come back. the rooms are modern. the dinner was really something very special.
