We got some really bad weather and they were not sympathetic to people that were stranded. Not saying that they should have given rooms out for free or anything but even a late checkout they weren't willing to accommodate even though they had no business because the roads were bad. I will never stay there again.

Motel with a 60's space theme. Well-located in downtown Astoria next door to a reall good pig 'n pancake breakfast place. The free motel breakfast is very very minimal. Esentially this is a Motel Six eith attitude. Price is right.

The amenities and location are great and as expected. But we found old food in the microwave from a previous guest and dirty underwear between the mattress and the wall. And it wasn’t hidden away, it was in plain sight. No idea how housekeeping missed it.
The motel was great otherwise but the bad housekeeping kinda ruined the stay. Cleanliness is important!

We picked this motel for its unique design, but this did not make up for the room not being clean. There were long hairs in the bathroom and some surfaces including the small dining/side table a tv stand had not been dusted in weeks. The price was almost double some of the national chains just across the street. We wanted to support a small local motel but the lack of cleanliness for the price was very disappointing.

The location is great if you want central. We really liked the "atomic" theme right down to the period appropriate color scheme. The lobby has a TV playing episodes of The Jetsons and fun kitchy decor. I will say the beds are on the firm side - (viva le soft mattresses), in our room the vanity and shower felt a little tired, but the rest was ok. Bottom line The Atomic is a decent to good value and a pleasant stay. The staff was personable and helpful, too.

The office and the coffee and the very small breakfast did not open unti 9:00 a.m. This was inconvenient and way to late for people who wanted to travel. Will not stay here if we ever travel in this area again.

The decor was cute. Not enough parking. I am handicapped and there was no designated parking close to the rooms.

NOT a good experience. We booked this because it looked cute, but there were people above us that were up all night and the walls are VERY thin. The tv in our room, well cable box, did not work and after 8pm there is NO staff onsite. We called the after hours number and they said they could come try to fix it, but it would take 20 minutes to get there. That’s also why we didn’t report the noise, in fear of the upper room knowing we called and having no one there to help. It did not feel safe at all. Also there aren’t many plugs in the room, so you have to charge phones away from the beds. Spend more money and stay somewhere else!!!!!
