Brilliant service and good-quality breakfast. You can enjoy amazing view of acropolis in your room or on the roof cafe. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They can meet all your requirements. Manifold restaurants as well as bars around there and you can enjoy and tour the city centre by foot within 20mins. I would book again next time.

This hotel was excellent. Loved the view from our room and it was walking distance to Plaka and the acropolis. We loved how clean and comfortable the room was. The service for the rooms was great. Overall this hotel was amazing. We're for sure staying here on our next trip to Athens.

Clean, absolutely breathtaking view of the Acropolis. The owner and staff are so friendly and kind. They helped us reserve a taxi . There is a beautiful restaurant right outside and a roof top restaurant with breathtaking views upstairs . Room is beautiful. We stayed in Room 101. Location was perfect- price fantastic . The breakfast was fantastic - we had a buffet one day and menu another . Both were delicious and generous . Would absolutely recommend !

Excellent property with stunning view of the acropolis! Would highly recommend this place. Unfortunately we weren't able to participate in the breakfast, but they did bring us a little something to take with us the night before we had to leave early in the morning to fly out. We would definitely stay here again. This time was my wife and I and our 14 month old.

My wife and I visited several destinations in Greece on a five week trip. We spent a total of ten days at Hotel Thissio and thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this boutique hotel. Our room (104) had a wrap around balcony overlooking the acropolis and we couldn't have asked for better accomodations. The view was sensational and the hotel's location was just a ten minute walk to the markets in Monastiraki. The walk to the acropolis entrance is a 20 minute walk away. Our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We didn't try the rooftop restaurant but noticed that the views from there were sensational. Breakfast was served by individual order rather than a buffet. We would stay here again when visiting Athens.

This small hotel is in a perfect position overlooking the Acropolis. Great view from our balcony. We had a family room as our adult daughter was with us . It wasn’t cheap but the location was excellent. We tried to book dinner but in the end we decided to go to a real Greek taverna. We found an amazing one near the Wyndham hotel which was a good half hour walk away but so worth it as food was amazing. I would not recommend having the breakfast. It was very poor. The hotel layout was a little odd with the reception at the back. We would recommend going to a cafe nearby for breakfast instead. If you are coming in a taxi then it’s pedestrianised but the taxi could get up there. If you are going to the Acropolis then please book your tickets in advance and check your junk email box. The queue to get in there in Sept was huge and there was no cafe or toilets outside so take plenty of water and a walking stick. Wear decent trainers not flip flops! Definitely not suitable for frail or elderly people.

Roberto was so helpful to check us in early so that we can start our sight seeing early in the day. All staff very friendly and helpful. It's a great locaiton with shops and resturants. The rooms are confortable and we really enjoyed our stay
