Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead Pharr Road

DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish I could give this place zero stars. The parking garage caught fire during our stay, and destroyed some of the hotel. The fire alarms or sprinklers were either turned off or did not work as (confirmed by staff and the fire department), so we’re only alerted of the fire by hearing the fire trucks and smelling smoke. The GM didn’t show up until 8am (the fire started at 4am). There was a large amount of construction debris in the parking garage that caught fire along with two cars. No acknowledgment or apology from management. I had to wait in the water logged lobby for an hour for the GM to show up to refund my stay then called Hilton and was told they wouldn’t pay to rebook me at another hotel. It was an absolute nightmare.

Bed comfort wasn't to my likings I'm pretty clean nice they were doing renovations they have ladybugs didn't bother me it's okay overall staff was nice clean breakfast was tasteless but it's a good experience teach his own try it out for yourself you never know until you go out there and experience for yourself overall I give them a seven out of 10

We've been staying at various Hilton properties with kitchenettes for over ten years and our poor experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead Pharr Road had nothing to do with the renovations. (The renovations are very nice.) First, the rooms are tiny. (We had a King Bed "Deluxe" Efficiency Suite.) They are barely half the size of a normal Home2Suites room. They offer a lot of cubbies, but the four dresser drawers barely can hold one pack cube each. There's a dining table, but we found we needed that for all of our luggage and groceries, so we never had a place to sit and actually eat. And the showers had absolutely no shelves to put our toiletries. Also, the black out curtains do not extend far enough, so the rooms are flooded with early light, so if you're not an early riser--beware. And lastly, the customer service was rude and unhelpful. The front desk attendant refused to allow us to have our digital key until we came inside the lobby. It was extremely cold out and we just wanted to go to our floor's door, get settled and then head out quickly again for a timed ticket to the garden lights, but she made us come inside and wait for her attention. Then she hassled us when we gave our her ID & CC, as she requested. We can understand security concerns and gave them to her, but we've never been asked for these before and she gave us such a hard time even though we complied. (On top of all that, she had just blown her nose into a tissue and then held our cards against that used tissue in her hand...) Then she refused to give us our Gold level gift bag and food credit. But the man in front of us was also Gold and she happily offered him anything in the food pantry for free and two bags of bottled water. We asked, and she begrudgingly gave us one bag with water in it and ignored us about the food credit. Then she told us we couldn't use the upper level entrance near our room, saying it didn't work. But if we had to come through the lobby, the elevator is down the hall and around the corner and it would have been a hassle to go in that way with all of our luggage. Instead we went upstairs where she said the door didn't work and observed people going in and out of it without issue(!) So thankfully we were able to use the more convenient door, but without her helping us know we had that option. Lastly, the parking lot looked structurally unsafe (maybe they'll work on that) and the instructions to find them are inaccurate. You'll pass it a few times if you use apple.google maps, so be on the lookout for a VERY small sign and a quick turn off of Pharr road.

Rude front desk, AC doesn’t work at night, noisy, dogs barking in room a for hours on end. It’s under renovation which is understandable but the pure rudeness of the morning front desk is inexcusable. It will never be a Hilton property as it aspires to be

Upon my arrival, I was disappointed to find that the swimming pool and outdoor areas were undergoing renovation. This was in stark contrast to what was advertised on their website during my reservation, which made no mention of these disruptions. I had paid a significant amount for my stay, and I had expected to receive the amenities promised to me. The lack of transparency during the booking process and the inconvenience caused by the renovations left me feeling unsatisfied. Bad customer service. No body wash in the room and I have to chase house keeping every where to get it replenished. Front desk has no help. I hope the hotel's management will address these issues promptly to improve the experiences of future guests. As it stands, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my recent stay.

I'm very disappointed with my two day stay in this place. Starting with the location of this hotel is kind of shady, with no hotel sign,past by twice, and could not find the entrance, parking area dark with no lighting, front desk looks like a apartment basement, you use the dirty employees elevator. I am very disappointed with Hilton as a long-time Hilton member.

This hotel was formally Staybridge Suites and the renovation that's going on it's near completion the amenities arent available right now it will be soon, breakfast is grab and go be very patience with them as they're doing there best to accommodate everyone. I know it will be Hilton standards once it's complete. They started the renovation last year when my family and I stayed for five days. All, I have to say is that this hotel is very convenient going to Midtown, Downtown Atlanta along with the mall, hospital, shops and restaurants near.

Horrible hotel experience. Hotel was under renovation but no discount! We called for towels and bed linens .finally we went to front desk and had to make up own bed. (for foldout sofa) . I am 5'8 and my legs hung over the sofa bed. No shower pressure, toilet did not flush every time, air conditioning did not cool off until late night. No light in kitchen. Person at.front desk was indifferent- didnt seem to care that we had issues. Website said hot breakfast and managers reception but all we got was a soggy breakfast sandwich. Cannot believe that this is part of the Hilton family hotels

The hotel was chosen due to its walkable distance to the start of the Peachtree road race. When picking the location I did not realize it would not be any grocery stores within walkable distance, but are three restaurants in the area. The room was updated, but the job is being rushed as one can see where the headboard used to be, the hinge of the previous door, and the glue on the new floor. Lastly, the hotel trip was booked earlier so I was unaware of the construction until I got there so I did not get to experience any of the amenities and had I known about that I would have picked a different hotel.
