Cozy Mountain Motel 

It was a cozy little place, just as the name states Haf a great time at the Hotsprings Will definitely stop there again Love your friendly little grey cat

We arrived at the property and found the lobby empty with a telephone number to call. I called the number multiple times however was directed to a voice mail box that was full. I was only able to get in contact with the owner because one of the other guest came out of their room and provided me with a cell #. All this while it was snowing and getting dark. Room was small, shower didn't work. Coffee was not good.

The heating and air conditioning unit was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep during the night even on the low fan setting. Almost everytime the heater kicked on it would wake us up.

Small rooms need hooks and shelves, or somewhere to put minimum clothing and personal items. Small improvement in this regard would be very helpful. Fortunately for me there were no divorce attorneys in Austin. Place needs general refurbishing. Prior stay had coffee available in the morning. This time coffee "room" was locked.

I brought my own breakfast but I didn’t think about utensils it would help to have plastic utensils in the office. Also, a small bedside clock would help and a stopper for the bathroom sink. Overall great place to stay while driving through the Nevada desert.

It’s a great little Motel in the Mountain town of Austin, NV. A husband and wife own it. They also own the restaurant Grandma’s in the town, which is also good. The beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and the parking is right in the front of your room. Best place to stay in Austin!!!

Cozy bed cozy cats. The bed was great and they had friendly cats if you sit outside at the tables. They also had a dinner that opens for dinner.

This is a very clean and comfortable motel. The bathroom was generous and we had a fridge for our medication. Just be prepared to travel a distance to find food or check out then go to the local bar and cafe.

I wouldn’t know about the cleanliness or quality of the rooms because I was denied my reservation upon check in with my registered service dog. The manager was extremely rude (I would use many other words) and denied me my stay because my dog “wasn’t behaving”. So I guess she’s an expert in service animal behavior and deems a dog who just spent 12 hours in a car who was a bit wiggly during the check in process to be poorly behaved. She said “this is clearly a pet, a service dog would be standing at attention by your side” Not necessarily, it depends on their training, and I’ve never had a problem with her or her behavior ever in her lifetime. I also do not need to prove or demonstrate this to the manager or anyone per ADA laws. She says I will be refunded for the room and then promptly leaves through a back office door leaving me absolutely no time to even complain, question or confirm my information for the refund. My husband and I tried calling her back several times to follow up and our calls were answered and then we were hung up on, and ignored. Still have yet to see a refund and will be taking legal action.
