I rented three rooms for the weekend. Ours was a two bedroom suite, over three hundred dollars more than the single queen and king bed rooms. We had a stained couch and bed in one room. The other room had a bed. Our old refrigerator and microwave was situated under the bathroom sink in the single king room. We had two showers, no tub. The other rooms had spa tubs and separate showers. Our room had chipped tile and flooring. Book a stay with a king sized bed if you want a long walk to the hotel and no view.

Though the location was good, just off the main road in town and walkable to restaurants, dining and the beach, the courtyard was Very noisy. It was hard to sleep with all the noise. I would not stay here again.

My recent stay at Catalina Courtyard Suites was delightful. The hotel’s unique charm immediately caught my eye, and its convenient location near all the shopping, restaurants and beach made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. We were also fortunate enough to meet Jacob, the owner, who is truly fabulous! It was inspiring to hear about the amazing Improvement he is planning on doing with the hotel in the next year. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Catalina. We can’t wait to return! The Roeben's

Awful experience. Got a queen bed only to find out it is the size of a full. When brought to managements attention they shrugged it off and said that it was “their” queen size standard for the property. So they have their own definition of a queen size bed…on top of that it was like sleeping on springs. The floor would have been more comfortable. We checked out early and Hotel Metropole saved the day!

This is an older, charming three story hotel; the friendly staff will carry your luggage upstairs if requested. The rooms are small but clean, and the outside balconies are great for the morning coffee or evening wine. The newer Vons is a 10 minute walk away. Unfortunately the hot tub was covered up. But we will be back!

I’ll start with a positive. The hotel is situated in a nice area our room had partial ocean views. The staff are nice but need to be found or called to get service. The room was clean but definitely dated and old. The finish on the bottom of the bathtub is worn away, the pedestal sink was cracked and duct taped together, the furniture is old and needs to be updated. The room was very cold due to no heater, and only one very thin blanket on the bed. Went downstairs to get another blanket and realized the hours of operation for the desk is only 9to 6. The hours were not posted until after the staff had gone and had to make a phone call for an extra blanket so went upstairs and just put an extra layer of clothing on. If you want to rough it then this is your hotel.
