Atlantica Mare Village Ayia Napa

Gorgeous hotel! We had a family swim up bungalow which was immaculate. It was our first family holiday and we loved it. I looked at lots of reviews before booking and it did not disappoint. One of my children has autism and i was really worried about how he would react being away but i had nothing to worry about. The bungalow created a home away from home feel, having enough rooms for him to have space to himself. The swim up pool gave privacy and quiet space he loved it. Its a lovely peaceful resort we neverfelt crowded or short of space. Not everything was open on our visit but still more than enough. Beach (do bring flip flops or water shoes), pools, play park, splash park... the kids did cookie, pizza and cocktail workshops which were great. Kids entertainment was available at night but my kids aren't keen so we didn't go. We enjoyed sitting with a drink listening to the music in the lounge after the evening meal. If you want something really lively this may not be for you but it was great for us. I found the food selection vaired, fresh and good quality i have no complaints. One of my children is a very picky eater and even he ate very well. All of the staff were lovely and work so hard. A fantastic team from hospitality, to cleaning to grounds maintenance and everything between. I would definitely revisit.

From the moment our family group of 9 arrived, we were so well looked after. Several of our party suffer from slight mobility issues, and the brilliant staff went out of their way to escort us between the stylish accommodation and the other areas of the resort. The village feel has been excellently designed providing a secluded feel despite the many guests staying. The rooms had all the modern facilities required to enjoy your stay. The dining experiences are varied to please most tastes, with enough options to try something different every night. Each dining location providing superb quality food, served by friendly and attentive staff. Every staff member provided a warm welcoming stay, from reception, to the many bar staff, the friendly room service and lifeguards. The beach was perfect for our family aged 14 - 79, allowing us to enjoy the beautifully clear Mediterranean sea and explore the sea life close to shore. Even when we ventured from the resort, other locals commented on how the Atlantica Mare is the one place they would recommend in the area. Thanks again to all the lovely staff for our stay.

First resort I’ve visited where I want to come back for a second holiday!! My partner and I were a bit apprehensive after reading negative reviews but as soon as we got to the resort we were taken back and immediately relieved… don’t listen to the debby downers- this place is absolutely lovely!! With a choice of two really large sized pools and a private beach there was no issues with trying to find sunbeds or anything like that. We stayed in a double swim up bungalow and it was absolutely stunning, we hit jackpot with our pool- not at all overlooked (our room was 1004), really nice spacious room, new towels everyday plus slippers, flip flops and robes on arrival. We also requested a late checkout room and were lucky enough to be able to keep the bungalow that we were already in for this. Neither of us had any issues with the food, the buffet might not be 5* but the food was lush with plenty of choice- you will not go hungry lol. We both thought that they could do more with the restaurants in the hotel aside from the buffet but they are a nice touch, I guess more of an experience over 5* food?? If that makes sense?? We only visited the Greek and the outside BBQ- in all honesty we preferred the buffet food. Entertainment is minimal, they do have live music in the seating area near reception a couple of times a week but that’s about it really. I can’t comment on the kid’s entertainment because we don’t have kids so we stayed away from all of that- which was easily done. I did visit the spa for a full body massage and facial which I’d definitely recommend, Ive never had a massage before but it was needed- the staff were really accommodating and friendly. If you have uno or a set of cards, bring them, we spent lots of evenings in the bar playing uno enjoying drinks. We walked into aiya napa one night which was nice and id recommend doing but just make sure you do it in the evening, we were both sweating buckets by the time we got there lol. Taxis are about 12-15 euros, we didn’t bother with the bus. I’m not at all a cat person but there quite a few lovely cats around the resort, majority of them are really friendly and cuddly too. Overall, I’d say if you have this holiday booked already, take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt and just look forward to your holiday and if you’re checking reviews before booking, book- I don’t think you will regret it!!! Id really like to come back, I could see this being a really nice resort to bring little ones as well. I’d recommend joining the Facebook group if you want to ask any questions ahead of your visit.

Great complex. Food got better as the days went on. This was we went off peak and transitioned into peak. Staff were friendly, lovely. Amazing truly!! The Ayia Napa centre is a must - do venture out. The faculties were immaculate l, yoga was cool and the complex lived up to expectations.

100 proc to recommend . Fully guest-oriented personel. Front desk - just perfect. Everyone very helpful. Rooms specious and clean. Food fresh, healthy and in any quantity. Sandy beach small but clean , located at the picturesque bay. Tennis court, various of sport activity to choose. Just great place to rest for a week

The Hotel is said to be 5 star (You will have a nice time here.) But it is only 3 star. The food is good Usual cold chips, but good selection Had to keep asking for more food to come out as the staff were not topping up. Barbecue sauce was empty for two days I finally got them to fill up for next day ???? Simon on reception is fantastic. Any problem he is the one member of staff there who will help you. The young bar staff, can be quite rude. Plonking the drink down in front of you and then walks away I don’t know if this is because I do not tip on all inclusive. Some other staff were tipping. Hadi one of the pool staff is very rude. I Always tried to stay away from him. He always made you feel like you’re being a problem asking for a drink. When I mentioned it to a senior lady member of staff, she just said maybe he just does not want to be on that department????

We stayed in the apartments on the second floor overlooking the site with a view of the sea. Room was clean and tidy with a sink and draining board, which was a bonus. The fridge was used for the normal storage etc. Can't fault the room. It was a bit of a walk down to the facilities and beach but it was down hill. For the return journey we used the 'golf cart' with both of the duty drivers being very friendly and talkative. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants with plenty of choice. Just make sure you book a table on arrival for the ones that require booking, it will be worth it. I would say that the choice at the buffet for lunch and dinner was the best that we have ever had. Even though the buffet was busy, you never had a problem gaining access to your required dishes. The grandkids loved the splash park and spent some time there or at the main pool. We also attended there but also used the pool near the beach or some loungers on the beach. No worries about obtaining drinks at the pools or beach as the waiters are always on patrol.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for 5 days with 2 friends. I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival as 1 of my friends were due to celebrate their birthday during the trip. On arrival our room was upgraded…. The room was amazing. Sybille & Chris in guest relations did an excellent job of booking one of the restaurants in advance with Prosecco and a cake as a surprise to celebrate and make the day special! Thank you so much!! This hotel is beautifully kept and its grounds are so vast we did not get to explore it all. We were welcomed by Mr B (sorry we couldn’t pronounce your name) and SzaSza who were always ready and willing to chauffeur us around in the carts which was fun! Thank you and we really appreciated that! During our stay (before season) we were fortunate to dine at majority of the A la cart restaurants our favourites were Dante’s Italian and Don Peppe’s- were we celebrated my friends birthday (Thank you to the manger here sorry I could not remember your name I believe begins with a ‘P’… very attentive) Shout out to Alistair at the pool bar for creating the amazing ‘Big Green’ cocktail for us and his knowledge of mixology. I asked for a Bahama mama cocktail which unfortunately the hotel did not have the ingredients to make but Alistair was able to create something similar that tasted just as good!! Thank you for dealing with us every 20- 30 mins!! Lol. I can’t forget on one evening of entertainment a lady singing… amazing voice and her own renditions of classics like Amy Winehouse and Bob Marley sung effortlessly!! Amazing performance!! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderful, they were all polite friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return and highly recommend a stay here! (I also signed up to their loyalty program it was that good! :) )

Overall the trip was fantastic, we had a spotless room which had little signs of wear and was a lovely place to be. We paid extra for the swim up bungalow which we actually spent all day every day at and with a young baby was perfect, allowing us to enjoy our holiday. We also paid 150 euros to keep this room for the last day as we had a late check out. The grounds are also very well maintained as is the main building and pools. The theme restaurant’s are also very good (Italian, Greek & BBQ). We also paid to visit the Asian which was very good as well and worth the money. (Would have been nice to be included as well) The buffet is nothing to write home about food is cold, very hard to create a meal out of what’s on offer sometimes but it is what it is but doesn’t compare to some other 5* hotels in Cyprus. Breakfast is a similar show, you have to get your own drinks which can be busy, Seen lots of confusion of people getting sat at tables where other people had been sat so coming back with food to people on their table. Staff need to do something with the table such as move the knife and fork to show someone has been placed at this table. Drinks are very good in the evening and by the pool as with the coffee bar. We did have one issue with a drink with the fruit which contained some bugs and could have been handled better but I guess one of those things with fresh fruit. Some of the staff are exceptional including main lounge staff, cleaning staff & staff in themed restaurants. Some of the staff seem like they have had very little training but everyone has to learn. Some just do not want to be here! But the good ones do make up for some of the bad ones! Lastly someone with the maturity level of a 3 year old decided attempting drifting a rented white Mercedes around the turning bay of the hotel whilst we were walking back with a pram within two meters of where we were. The reception staff didn’t seem that bothered but also not directly the hotels fault. Overall a lovely place and don’t let the couple of things put you off. We had a great holiday and would consider returning mainly due to the resort layout and swim up pool options.
