Overall, it's a very nice hotel. The in-room fridge was not obvious to me and I didn't find it until my second day. No coffee maker or kettle in the room and the machine in the lobby for coffee is not self-service. Good location for the railway station, cafes and grocery stores. Staff friendly and spoke good English.

This was an ok stay, our room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds but it didn't have any bathrobes which is odd for an spa hotel. There were a parking garage with extra payment. Breakfast was plentiful and the location is quite ok in the town. The best part for this hotel is the beautifully renovated spa area. We liked it a lot.

After the excellent experience last summer, we (Father, 2 sons, dog) returned to Amber Bavaria again this summer and we were confirmed in our choice. The service again was outstanding, especially the dog friendliness needs to be mentioned. Like before we had a „Suite Comfort Plus“ given us tons of space. The swimming pool is rather small, but sufficient for a quick swim and it has been nicely renovated compared to the year before. Breakfast (which has a lot of choice from the buffet) can be still taken (with dog) in a separate room- unfortunately this is not possible anymore for dinner- shortness in staffing also shows here. The location next to Karlspark is perfect for a morning or evening walk towards Bayrisch G‘main and the pedestrian zone is also close. Again can highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 5nights, during the New Year. I recommend the place for Breakfast and the Spa. Very close to Salzburg and Lofer, Ski Resort and many Shopping Center.

We have stayed there for 5 nights. Staff was very helpful. breakfast was Excellent. But there was no room service. Bedding was never changed during our stay even After requesting twice.

Hotel is in a lovely spot with excellent transport links.
It is in Bavaria and two trains away from Salzburg. We managed this well however it might not suit some.
Excellent breakfasts and fantastic walking, i would go again.
