Santiago Beach Resort

Rooms are not cozy. The washroom is smelly and the hotel does not provide any complementary washroom stuff. No lift, it's difficult if you get a 2nd floor room.

This was our second stay at the Santiago, the first was in March this year. It’s a small hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned on request, every day if you want, with clean towels daily and bedding changed. The breakfast is good, freshly made omelettes and eggs and also Indian breakfast, we also ate there a couple of times in the evening, the food was great. The best thing about this hotel is the location, you can walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Santiago is located just off the main Baga road, there’s a lovely bar called Shooters on the corner and a restaurant called Cherry Olive ( fabulous pies) opposite Cherry Olive is a clothes shop run by Ravi, he sells some lovely stuff at really good prices ( and he’s such a lovely person 💕) next to the hotel is a jewellery shop called Jack the Jeweller, please go and say hi if you’re passing, if you want something special, he’s the guy to go to, he’ll design and have it made for you in a few days, he’s a lovely ***, also not forgetting Taj ( Max ) the tailor who is opposite Jacks shop if you want some clothing made or altered, he’s fab too. All in all it’s a great place to stay, we’ll be heading back in March 25 … all booked 😀

Room was clean and the staff was very kind. We have tried breakfast in buffet and that was awesome. Overall it was a good experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and the food was of high quality. Service was consistently prompt and efficient. Absolutely loved our stay there.

The property didn’t look like the images shown, it was dirty and smelly. The Ac wasn’t working properly , we had to shift rooms.
