Sukia Hostel

We decided to stay in a dorm at Sukia Hostel during our 7 day adventure tour with Sukia Travel, but were lucky to have the 4 bed room to ourselves all the time. The hostel is a small place with two small dorms and two cabins at a 15 minutes walk up the hill from the beach in Drake bay and placed in a valley with a nice garden and jungle like atmosphere. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place after the day activities and seeing the parrots and macaws flying home before sunset above our heads. Every morning breakfast was served at whatever time fitted with the departure time of the tours - even at 5.30! Deliciously prepared by the chef Kendall and his assistant Kendall 😀. Also their other creations for lunches were great. Estefani got it all running, kept the place clean and kept us well informed on the next day’s activities, schedule and a packing list for the big tour. Our best recommendations!

Paradise Lounge was an unexpected adventure on our trip to Drake Bay. The property makes you feel immersed in the nature and wildlife of the area. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. They were immediately available when we needed something and were helpful in setting up various excursions on short notice, including transportation from the airport and horseback riding. Overall, our hosts made our stay feel like visiting family rather than staying in an inn.

We had a fabulous Christmas dinner followed by some drinks arround a bonfire. Some local games and the amazing view rounded up a perfect start to our holidays. A night to remember for sure thanks to the firiendly staff and especially Derrick
