key to open gate wouldn’t read cards. trash area overflowed. over all it was a good place to stay with adequate surroundings. great shower, bathroom. good sized rooms

Nice trip next to the freeway easy access. Lots of businesses in the area and places to eat. They have nights security for parking. Movie theater nearby as well as other shopping and restaurants. I even think I saw a bowling alley. Room was on 2nd floor I would suggest that they trim some of the Palm tree leaves from in front of the windows to allow more natural light into the room during the day. Love the happy hourtime from 7-9 PM. The breakfast is great 1 morning we had omelets. Front desk staff is very good and accommodating. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and it was separated from the living room area with t v's in both areas. The elevator on one end of the building was not operating but didn't create any big inconvenience for me. If you do decide to park your car under the canopy you might look up to be sure the pigeons aren't roosting Over your car. Although the rooms are basically no smoking I did get a good whiff on occasion of people smoking pot in their rooms. Overall I would stay there again if I needed to travel to Bakersfield again.

Room had broke and dirty blinds, the entire room was dirty from the walls to the carpet and furniture. The restrooms ceiling had mold and the shower curtain and tub was dirty.

My key card didn’t work so I went back to the front desk and they reactivated my key. I opened the door. There was a man staring at me. There was a homeless person in my room. The receptionist didn’t apologize or didn’t even bother to check the room. What else can I say? Just take this hotel off from your listing.

Very helpful staff, nice rooms, good food in the morning. The only draw back is the place smells like smoke. It's something that is very hard to cover up. Otherwise a great place to stay.

I liked it. Took my family to stay there 1 room 2 queen beds. Jetted tub. We had the free breakfast at 7am. Good area.

This was a little gem. Nice clean rooms, wonderful staff and very good complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

I had to stop midway through a long drive and would have kept on driving if I'd seen this place before stayng there.
In a no-so-good part of Bakersfield, this property had a fenced parking along the building. Though security was present, there was more than on car with people just sitting in them. I was worried all night about the car.
The back entry door didn't have a handle, just a knob to pull it open
The hallways were better, but nothing of note.
The room had a note... one of slight urine or musk. It was a large room and the smell faded as you turned the corner to the bed area. The ac/heat was older and the bathroom was possibly older.
The one amazing part was the comfort of the bed. I'm guessing new mattresses, as they it was very childishly comfortable.

Our TV didn’t work. We called the front desk who said they would call us back. Never did. Our room had windows facing the back and at 5:21 am, two plus roosters started doing what they do. It didn’t stop.
