"Scandic Simonkenttä Hotel is a very good choice for staying in Helsinki, especially for travelers who want a convenient and central location. The hotel is within walking distance from the main railway station, making it easy to get around the city, and it is located right in the city center, close to shopping areas and attractions. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, with a positive attitude and genuine smiles, which makes the stay more pleasant. Breakfast is varied and interesting, with a good selection of food to start the day. However, it closes a bit early — breakfast ends at 10:00 AM, which may feel slightly rushed for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. The room is comfortable and warm, which is especially important during cold weather. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice addition for a hotel at this level. Aside from that, other amenities are well-prepared and sufficient. Overall, Scandic Simonkenttä offers a comfortable stay, excellent location, and good service. With a few small improvements, especially regarding bathroom amenities and breakfast hours, it would be an even better experience."

"Unfortunately the sauna and pool were out of order. The room and facilities are worse than the pictures show and there is a weird smell on the room floors. The location is very good."

"Excellent apartment in a great area of Helsinki. Love the communal kitchen, the dishwasher and utensils and cookware in the room, and loved the layout and decorations. Easy to access bike rentals and use them and very kind staff."

"Basic hotel for staying, no services provided, self check in type of hotel. If you booking this hotel, do not book via trip.com as the hotel need self you an email to complete check in and if you book via trip.com then you will not be able to receive that email, at least I didn’t receive. This result to having issue during checking in."

"The building is pretty new and clean. However it is relatively small consider Helsinki is not a crowded city. It is conveniently located with a small supermarket around the corner. Otherwise will have to walk back to Helsinki station area where there are a few larger supermarkets available. Heating is not very strong for the time we visited (late Oct). I can't imagine how heating would be enough during winter. We were quite happy with our stay but one small thing that can be improved - a simple instruction on how to separate our rubbish. We are happy to comply with the Finnish way of recycling but at the same time we were a bit confused on which bin is for which item."

"This is the first hotel we stayed at when we arrived in Helsinki. We love the breakfast, they have the freshest vegetables and wide spread of breads, dishes, salads to choose. The location was ok, a short walk away from malls and cafes. Room was excellent. Cosy and comfortable for two persons. Toilet is clean and good except for the tape beneath the shower door, sometimes water from the shower can leak out to under the basin. We hope that the separate between the wet and dry areas work properly. There is a sauna facility for guests to use at limited timings. Overall, a pleasant experience!"

"Staff are friendly, breakfast is good with variety of choices. The sea view is slightly disappointing. Sofa bed is not in good quality. Bottle water put on the table at 5 Euro per bottle - please either take them away or provide them free to customer. I would not say this stay is bad - but honestly a lot better experience for my previous stays in Hilton hotels in other countries. Don't feel I spent the money worthy this time."

"The hotel’s location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk from Helsinki Central Station. The facilities were modern and spotless, and the free sauna (though small) was a nice bonus. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only minor complaint was that the bed was a bit too soft. Overall, a fantastic stay!"
