Kembali Villas

We just enjoyed 8 nights at Kembali Villas and had an amazing time. We arrived quite late in the evening (after 10pm) and were taken straight to our villa where check-in took all of about 3 minutes (great after a very long day). The villa itself was excellent. Probably the only negative we had was that there wasn't cover walking between our room and the main villa pavilion - meant we go a little wet when it was raining. Breakfasts were great. Made in your villa but the lovely staff, delicious and just the right quantity (no going nuts at the breakfast buffet which is a good thing!!). The Villa staff are all such lovely people - from the security team, the office staff and the housekeeping tea (our person for the week, Isnu, deserves a special shout out!!). The reason for our trip was our 30th wedding anniversary. On the day we had the most amazing bouquet of flowers arrive from the Kembali Villas team. It was so thoughtful. I know a few reviews have said that the Villas are a little out of the way. They are but they aren't. We walked a few times - my wife with a broken toe (suffered pre-trip) and me with really bad knees and it wasn't a problem. Even by taxi (which the office team arrange easily and willingly), you can go a very long way on the minimum taxi charge of IDR30,000 (only about NZD$3!!). Would we stay at Kembali Villas again? Heck yes!!

I went back to Bali for a close friend’s wedding and stayed here as it’s close to the venue! Very nice location, close distance to all the city’s major point. Room has a lot of sunlight and very spacious and clean as well. Recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in seminyak!

Totally loving this place like a lot!! Beside of it has strategic location, it's also kinda safe and comfortable place to stay. All of the staff are so kind, friendly, and helpful. And the breakfast menu tho, it was tasty, amazing, and loveable!! Gonna get back someday..

I love this place so much. Comfortable, staff was very friendly, villa surrounding was quiet and serene. Staff there service minded, friendly and caring. Highly recommend. The breakfast was amazing, we can choose whatever we want from five well-prepared breakfast sets that they offer. The staff respected our privacy and they did not enter our villa without knocking our door even if we are the ones who ask them to do so. Our villa was cleaned everyday, regularly.

One of my fave place to stay in Bali. Really clean, aesthethic in every corner, and also the bed is so comfy. Service here is the best in my experience. The pool is very clean and well maintained. If you're looking for relaxing staycation, this villa is the best option.

Very good place to stay with my bae. Cozy place ever, clean. Location is very good, near from every good places. The staff are very welcome and very helpful. Super recommended villa for you guys honeymoon in Bali. Happy to be back again someday!

We loved our stay in kembali. The Staff is very nice and the villas are amazing. The living room is very comfortable, good sound system, Wifi is working very good! Thank you very much for our unforgettable stay!There is a good mini market just 80m away. Breakfast was perfect. We recommend it highly to spend couple of days or a week in this beautiful villa. We will come again

We have just spent 4 nights at Kembali with friends. For us, it was our 2nd stay, the first was 2013 when we stayed with our teenage kids. It could have been perfect but didn’t quite get there. Pro’s The staff were all absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the 3 bedroom and media room from the 3 bedroom on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. They make the experience! It’s in a great location in Seminyak - a 10 min walk to eat street, but with a fantastic coffee and brunch place literally over the road (called Local Coffee). There is a small supermarket over the road and a good spa as well for massages. The rooms are good, all with their own outdoor bathroom. Con’s The Villa is looking very tired since our last stay. Lots of things need attention. Examples include The umbrella is tatty with a spoke poking through the end, and the pole has been broken and is being held in place by a pebble The deck needs attention with warping and nails not securing correctly The lawn is long and messy and needs a trim The aircon in the main bedroom rattles, and the aircon in the media room barely worked There are rust stains around the pool coping from the lanterns at night The pool was warm - 33.6 - so not refreshing - although this is an issue with most pools in Bali at the moment. We have moved to Legian Beach and the pool is unusable at 37.5 unless you take in your shampoo and soap. All the pillows in the villa were huge, high and firm. My partner likes a high pillow but even he couldn’t cope. All 4 of us ended up putting a pillowcase on the decorative pillows and using them. Maybe a high and a low pillow each would be an option. The lighting in the villa is dim and nowhere near good enough to read at night. There is only a power point for the bedside lamp next to the bed, so can’t have that plugged in and have your own device’s charging there. Also not many power points at all. We brought a power board and that helped. Maybe we were spoiled when we stayed 11 years ago, but with a bit of maintenance it could be perfect again. Would we stay again? Yes. But hopefully it’s after the next rejuvenation.
