Putu's Paradise Guesthouse

Pros - Extremely pretty; quiet except for a few sporadic construction sounds from the neighborhood, and some family conversation down in the yard. A 4 minute walk and a world away from loud motorcycle-choked Hanoman street. Clean clean room. Plenty of space and nice covered balcony porch. Great breakfast brought to your porch table - those banana crepes! I felt safe. Across the yard below the rooms, a huge and beautiful fish tank. Next to the room, a big spigot bottle of drinking water. Cons - shower did not drain properly. They tried to fix it. The nice young guy who cleaned the rooms and helped in the yard and brought breakfast did not understand English. Communicating with the owners, Wayan and Putu by Whatsapp was OK but cumbersome for little things. Ragged towels in the bathroom. Room notes: before I got there, it looked like the 4 rooms were in the same building on two different floors. But actually one set of rooms is on the second floor of the family home although it doesn’t feel like that because you do not have to climb steps. The other two rooms are in the building beside the first one. I had room 4 and I liked it because it was on the far end with lots of privacy, but I did look down at the family’s doings from my covered balcony. Next time I think I would ask for a room in the other building to be farther from the family house. Location: the homestay was a 10 minute walk to Monkey Forest, and a 25 minute walk to the Ubud Palace area. Walking along Hanoman Street is fairly unpleasant and there is no way to avoid it. Coco Mart is close by for sundries.

Our staying at Putu’s Paradise was like in Paradise!Beautiful garden in the middle of Ubud,a lot of nature.They helped us a lot with renting scooter and organizing trips,good price!Such a nice and lovely people!Many thanks Putu and Wayan

Our stay at Putu was beyond our expectations. A beautiful and lovely family. We felt like home. A real paradise in the center of Ubud. The breakfast was also very good, nice rooms and a comfortable bed. Many many thanks to Putu and her husband Wayan, they were very helpful. We will miss you guys 🥹. Thank you so much for making us feel like home! We will be back. Until then, stay healthy! 🙏🏼❤️

Stayed here before and Putu seemed very kind. She asked money during covid because she didn't have guest. I payed in advance 1600 Euro in total 3 months rent for when I went to Bali. When I arrived she still wanted me to pay, but she could give me a discount of 30 euros a month. She scammed me out of 1600 euro. As a pensioner I have to save for my travel. I never expected that from her. Had to leave Bali sooner because of that. Be warned for her "kindness". The bed had bedbugs which she didn't address properly.

We visited Putu' Paradise in Late October 2023...our experience was excellent . ..from booking to arrival communication was easy & owners were always available for suggestions ...we booked our pick up and tours through the homestay...Wayan & Putu runs the homestay and stays inside the premise - so always available ....I recommend the homestay for family travellers who wants to stay in a clean snd peaceful enviroment in center of the Ubud...

I have stayed at various 5 star hotels, but would recommend this gem of a hotel in central Ubud. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is wholesome. The owners (putu and Wayan) strive their level best in providing an excellent experience. Wayan arranged transport for 3 days. Transport car was clean and big enough. Wayan himself was our chauffeur for the three days. His driving skills have been impeccable. He was easy on turns, ups and downs. Putu would chat with us in the evening. She has three dogs. My daughter liked playing with them in the garden. Only negative thing is that they should start accepting credit cards. We had to pay cash and we ended up short of cash at the end of the tour.

La struttura si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa pur essendo ad una decina di minuti a piedi dal centro. Le camere si affacciano su un bel giardino con molte piante ed hanno una piccola area all'aperto con sedie e tavolino per la colazione. La nostra stanza era semplice ma pulita e confortevole, dotata di condizionatore. La proprietaria, la signora Putu, è molto gentile e disponibile e ci ha aiutato ad organizzare le escursioni in auto con autista privato. La colazione non è molto varia, non essendoci il buffet, ma è buona. Lo consigliamo vivamente anche per l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Putu pendant 5 nuits. C’est un petit coin de paradis dans le centre de Ubud, la chambre donne sur un petit jardin calme. Le petit dej est très bon, notamment la crêpe à la banane qui est excellente ! Ils sont tous à nos petits soins et réactifs à toutes nos demandes. Nous avons même eu le frère comme chauffeur c’était top !
