Beautiful spot for a family wedding we attended. Food was lovely, service excellent rooms spotless, breakfast the next morning was very good. Really could not complain about anything our whole experience was amazing from we landed until we left. We had a balcony room and views were magnificent will definitely recommend and hope to return in the near future

Stayed here for 1 night (work trip) with a stay, spa, dinner and breakfast package. It was perfect from start to finish! Lovely immaculate room (with a super comfy super king sized bed) with stunning views of the coast … the location itself is breathtaking. I had probably the best massage I’ve ever had in the spa with lovely tranquil surroundings! The pool and sauna area is lovey too. The 3 course meal was absolutely delicious (as were the cocktails) and the staff were all so lovely too! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in (and I travel quite a lot) and at 156 euros for the package was amazing value for money … can’t recommend this place enough I’ll definitely be back x

Amazing from start to finish Staff super friendly and helpful . Rooms and views and upkeep of hotel fantastic food amazing and spa amazing . The only downfall is the hot tub it’s a basic hot tub u can have at home and although it was hot it did kit bubble . Pool was lovely and steam room . Will definitely be back loved it so so much

For a 4 stars restaurant I was really shocked all frozen food for a Sunday roast served with mash and no roast potatoes over cooked meet and a little gravy boat ... as a chef myself I'd be ashamed of sending that out of the kitchen and uf you ask for French mustard... forget about it ... they kindly give me a bottle of wine ...many thanks but didn't change the quality of the food

We arrived to very kind and helpful staff. The view is beautiful. Unfortunately, their advertising that this is a “luxury hotel” is no where near accurate. We booked a family room and were given a standard room with a cot in the corner. Photos online show a king bed with a twin on either side. We were given a single bed, a cot and something a tad smaller than a queen bed. Open used shower cap and dirty glasses in the room upon arrival. The sheets are coarse and the pillows are very firm and flat. Mattresses are worn out. The bathroom had ample space, but finishes are cheap and tiny. Despite this, the door still slams into the sink upon entering. A lavish 24” tv provides 4 channels for the kids to unwind after a long day of exploring. Kids are not allowed in the hot tub, nor is anyone allowed in the pool without a swimming cap. They’ll gladly sell this to you so you are in compliance with their rules though. Luxury at its peak I tell you. The rooms are in disrepair, have a hodge podge of lights and furniture, all which appears to be on its last leg. Please, if you want to call your self luxury, go visit a true luxury hotel for a few nights. The Westbury in Dublin is a start, or any Four Seasons hotel across the world. Try to reproduce this as best you can, with the area and clientele in mind. Get new mattresses. Yours currently sag and dig into your body. Upgrade your linens and pillows. Spend a night in each of the rooms in your hotel and mark the problems and FIX them. Update your online descriptions, they are currently not accurate. Keep the staff, they are the only thing helping you in what could be a wonderful hotel.

Another great stay. We spent 3 nights here celebrating my brother’s birthday. The superior room overlooking Pollan bay beach was comfortable and clean with bottled water each day. Breakfast was great and food in Jacks bar so good with very attentive staff. We used the swimming pool and facilities too. A relaxing vibe is evident throughout the hotel and we look forward to a return visit soon. Ballyliffin Lodge never disappoints. Robert and Allen Stewart.

Absolutely loved this hotel. I stayed here last night with my daughter and it was amazing start to finish. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, served by extremely friendly and attentive staff, special thanks to Holly (my daughter spied her name tag). We loved the swimming pool and sauna.. that was our favourite. The hotel itself is stunning, and views are amazing. I can't say enough, we will definitely be back.

Beautifully located with views over the countryside, golf club and beach in the distance. Super room, spacious, clean, comfortable and with frontal view. Bar was well stocked and bar food was very good and reasonably priced. Great breakfasts and looked after by friendly, attentive staff . Plenty of parking although the blue badge spaces were few and too narrow for me to get out of car. Thankfully was lucky enough to find a good sized space at side door which although not marked as accessable was suitable for needs. Close to beach, golf, shop, petrol station with shop,laundry and car wash. Coffee shop in village but hotel serves decent brew. 10 minutes drive from Carndonagh, 15 minutes to Buncrana, Mamore Gap and Dunree fort. Nearest EV charger is a fast CCS/ Chadamo Weev plus a twin type 2 ESB in Ferris Lane car park Buncrana. Hopefully hotel will add a couple in future. Lovely hotel and hope for another visit in new year.

Three friends and myself booked an overnight stay with dinner and spa. We had an exceptional experience from check in to check out. The bedrooms were clean with very comfortable beds and all amenities. Dinner in the bar was three courses which we couldn't finish as the portions were big. The food was delicious and service really good. Breakfast was in the conservatory and a lovely choice of hot food, amazing pancakes! The following morning we went to the spa which was lovely and had a wonderful massage from Louise, best massage ever! The pool was lovely and clean and very quiet. Close to beach, beautiful views. All in all so good will book another break for new year
