I found myself coming back to Mercure Bangkok Siam for a few times during my past visits to Bangkok. Perhaps the best feature of this hotel is its location situating right outside BTS National Stadium and within walking distance to Siam shopping district. This in itself can be a bonus or minus point as the location has traffic jams. Overall I am quite satisfied of my stay. The housekeeping staff was very friendly.
If there were things I’d like to recommend to Mercure Siam it’s that I hope they can improve the check in staff’s hospitality skills. A smile would go a long way. It doesn’t cost much. It would make travellers feel immensely welcoming instead of just checking in and checking out. I’ve stayed at IHG chain hotels and their hospitality was top notch. Also, perhaps making sure the bed isn’t worn out and sunk in? And keeping the furniture in good shape would be great. Thanks.

The hotel is well situated near the BTS sky train and nearby shopping centres with eateries.
The journey to the airport- Suvarnabhumi was not too far and not too jammed when using the highway.
The house keeping team did a good job for my room and the front desk staff were always polite and helpful.
I enjoyed my stay at Mercure

Disappointed! It was my 2nd time staying in this hotel for 7 nights , but was so disappointed. The 1st night was being itching in the bed & couldn’t slept well. I requested the house keeper to change the bed sheet, then ok for few days. On the 6th day, I went back to my room after breakfast. I discovered that my room was being opened and nobody inside or around. The room was cleaned and tidied. Definitely, the house keeper didn’t closed the door then ran out. It’s a shock to me! Again I was itching on that night. It seems that they did cleaning but didn’t change the bed sheet. I had taken photos of my neck with bed bugs wound and given to the check in counter.

Totally loved my stay here. Lovely breakfast (though the waffles were a bit dry but everything else was good ). Good location (I loved the views from the pool side and the restaurant. Great service. There was also a 7/11 right downstairs. I’d definitely want to stay here again next time I’m in Bangkok.

Best place to stay at the Bangkok City. To BACC, MBK & Siam Square just walking distance. If you forget to bring the toiletries or else, it’s okay because inside the hotel have 7E & next to the hotel also got 7E. Very near to the BTS National Stadium, easy access to interchange to the Sukhumvit line. Besttttt & will repeat again this trip and would be my fav hotel to stay at Bangkok.

Excellent stay. Room was small but functional, location excellent, next to National Stadium BTS and MBK Shopping Ctr. Siam Square barely 10 min walk aways. Well-stocked 7-eleven just downstairs at the entrance. Mercure shares the same entrance as the Ibis Hotel so it can get crowded with all sorts of guests. Only thing is the fixtures are a bit dated. No toiletries provided. Breakfast buffet is a good spread.

2nd time staying with Mercure Siam
Great customer service from front desk
Room clean and aircon was cool despite Bangkok hot and humid weather.
Bed was soft and acceptable but mattress edge having spike, nearly pinned on my Tigh.
Room was rather spacious for families with kids as there have a sofa bed in case needed for kids below 13 years old.
Overall pleasant stay and transportation well accessible.
