The Addison Choate Inn was the perfect boutique hotel for our mother/daughter trip. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and loved our beautifully decorated and very comfortable room. The location was excellent for seeing fall leaves, the sea, and Salem. We highly recommend this hotel - 5 Stars for all the details and the wonderful scents from your essential oil diffuser. -Lisa & Sophi M.

We couldn't believe just how beautiful Addison Choate and the surrounding area of Rockport was. Marshall and Jim made us feel incredibly welcome at all times and helped with any questions we had.
The room was stunning! From the wooden floors to the king-sized bed, everything felt so peaceful to the point that we didn't want to leave. Also, that bed is unreal, I don't think I've ever slept that well before! Thankfully we managed to be there at the end of October, just in time to see the New England foliage change colours.
Straight away we were already planning our trip back next year, as Addison Choate is the very definition of 'perfect'. Just a quick 1 hour train journey from Boston, or for anyone wanting to visit Salem during the Halloween holiday, Rockport is just 30 minutes on the commuter rail, so it's very close by. Thank you so much for such an amazing time, we'll never forget it.

Beautiful Inn! The inn is beautiful, modern, and has great rooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Loved staying here. A few extra touches in the room were noticed and appreciated; the vintage mini fridge and the caramel cream candies.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Clean, quaint, quiet and perfectly located I Gloucester.
Host was exceptionally attentive and helpful. Wonderful breakfast waiting for us when we arose. We will be back.

The location was great within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Easy access and clean. We were upstairs and the stairs are narrow and steep so beware. Could have used a few more amenities such as a luggage rack and full mirror and the mattress was too soft for us. However the other amenities were great. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Smart TV. Water and coffee, etc.

Absolute Perfect getaway !!!
Safe parking area.
Marshall is a great host, explaining the room and property.
The room was large with very quite surroundings
Bead and linens were so comfortable.
The bathroom was a dream, with high end soaps and lotions with super soft towels
The breakfast he provided was over the top with the best ever fresh baked scones, peets coffee, and fresh granola and yogurt.

The property is gorgeous. The owners have put a lot of TLC into the place. The only downside for me was the bed and pillows were too soft. Other than that, breakfast was easy. Walking around the area was very safe and convenient to the shops and restaurants.
