Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit 33 by Compass Hospitality

The location of this hotel is great, 4-5 mins to Phrom Phong BTS and just across the road is emsphere with ton of food options. As someone that likes to exercise, i think the pool is fine and the gym has sufficient equipment but isnt very well maintained. TV is quite interesting with no access to cable channels or any channels but can use youtube and netflix, tv remote or the tv sensor isnt great and can proof to be challenging to utilize. Room wise is spacious. Water somehow can suddenly become more hot intermittently, but water pressure is great! The vending machine oranges seem to be left there for a long time. One thing i find could be an issue for this hotel is that quite a handful of employees could only communicate in minimal english, and i have stayed in quite a handful of hotels in bangkok but this is one of most challenging to communicate. All in all these are more towards my feedback with the hope that the hotel can make certain improvements but will definitely stay here again

The hotel is very friendly, with helpful staff and very friendly. Room was very big, spacious and lots of amenities. Breakfast and swimming are ok.

This is my third time staying at the hotel. It’s an old 4-star hotel located at a very convenient place. About 3-5 minutes walk to Phrom Phong BTS. If you’re not very particular about the age of a hotel or its amenities, and if you rarely stay in the room during the day, this hotel is suitable for you.

Thanks for the hotel services , the hotel location was great , all big malls and restaurant closed to this hotel , breakfast has many kind of food , concerige man was great and has nice smile always , mook in restaurant was a great girl with warm greeting every morning , we will come back again , the hotel need just some touches to be more nice .

Good location, Good for the value!! New shopping mall Emsphere in the opposite side(5mins by walk). 7-11 in 3 mins by walk. Definitely will go again!

This hotel seemed okey at first but it ended in an absolute nightmare. I started to smell very strong chemical odour in the room and in the open hallways as well. I have a strong allergy and went down to inquire what was going on. They pretended first not to know but later they admitted that there was some refurbishment going on where they use wood lacquer and thinner products. About the location in the hotel they stayed vague and mysterious. I could change to another room, which I did of course. In the night the room was fine, but on waking up in the morning it was a disaster. The extreme smell woke me up at some point and I felt headache and extremely dizzy. On opening the bathroom door it was clear that it came in there via the ventilation. I couldn't even enter the badroom to use it obviously. I just grabbed my stuff and left the room immediately. I went to the bathroom in the lobby and talked to the staff. The day before they promised there wouldn't be any works anymore but then I was moved to a room where I was exposed even more. These are extremely dangerous toxic gasses and they don't care at all. It's shocking how they put money higher than the long term health of their guests. Now two days after I'm still feeling dizzy, lightheaded and burning throat pain. I read more about it and I'm very scared for nervous system damage. They wouldn't even consider a compensation (I would have to get documents from the doctor etc and long process to maybe get back the money of that last night). I only care about my health but it shows how much they value their clients. I'm still shocked and angry that this could happen and will obviously never ever go back there. How I wish I could turn back time and avoid this toxic fumes exposure.
