Poggio Agli Ulivi

Often when you are travelling, it happens that you just have to book somewhere to stay that is close to where you want to be. How wonderful it was then to find Poggio Agli Ulivi, it was much more than just a place to stay! Poggio Agli Ulivi is a beautful hotel in an old estate sitting atop of a hill in the Mugello countryside; views to die for that stretch out across to the hills and river, room to stroll, sit, relax or dine in the outdoors and enjoy generous hospitality. The property is a family run business and it is evident that their guests' comfort is their main priority. Breakfast is plentiful in the restaurant on site; a beautifully appointed rustic style dining room. The restaurant on the nights we stayed there was filed with local diners who had come to enjoy the excellent local delights - there are so many local regional dishes to enjoy and wines to drink; the Mugello area certainly is a foodies destination. Our room was spacious and authentically appointed with period furniture. The bathroom, also very spacious, had all the 'mod cons' and the bed was super comfy. We would highly recommend Poggio Agli Ulivi as a destination for relaxing in the beautiful Mugello region. It's location and access make it a perfect place to stay. We can't wait to return and thank the proprietors for making our stay very special.

We spent 10 days here and had a great time! Paolo, Francesco, Alice, Silvia and their staff are great hosts - wonderful people, who, despite being very busy, always smile, always help, always find a good solution and advice if needed. They’ve been wonderful with our kids as well! The location is great with a nice view of the lake, which you can admire at night, while having a delicious Tuscan dinner cooked at the agriturismo with vegetables and oil from their own garden. Absolutely delicious!!! Definitely a place to go if you want to visit Florence and its surroundings, prefer to stay in a relaxing and pleasant location, rather than the agglomerated city.

Bella la location, tra il verde con splendida vista- facile da raggiungere da qualsiasi parte arriviate, ambiente tipico toscano ben ristrutturato, ben tenuto molto accogliente.Il cibo tanto e tutto buono dagli antipasti ai primi alla tagliata, quantita'esagerate, personale disponible molto professionale. Parcheggio senza problemi consigliatissimo

Siamo stati con amici ed il posto e’ bello e ben curato. A me, che sono amante degli animali, trovare tanti piccoli mici che giocavano nel prato, è piaciuto molto. Camere pulite, cibo buono ma troppo caro sia il costo della camera, sia il ristorante

Ottimo ristorante vicino all'outlet di barberino. Molto consigliato se non si vuole pranzate all'outlet. Buona la scelta dei piatti, principalmente della tradizione toscana. Ottimo il servizio Prenotazione consigliate

Ambiente molto curato a conduzione familiare.Il titolare Paolo e la sua famiglia sono ospitali, facendoti sentire a tuo agio. Abbiamo trascorso gli ultimi tre giorni dell'anno con cene e cenone di ottima qualità. Addirittura su richiesta fuori menù ci hanno fatto il castagnaccio. Sono stati molto gentili e lo consigliamo.

Struttura eccellente! Ci abbiamo passato recentemente alcuni giorni piacevolissimi insieme ad altre famiglie di amici, con figli di età varie. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto, dall'ottima cucina, alla perfetta pulizia delle camere, alla cortesia e simpatia del sig. Paolo e di tutto il personale. Torneremo sicuramente!

Un luogo incantevole , cena favolosa, luogo rustico ed arredato con buon gusto,il gestore cordiale e disponibile.in qs periodo la tagliata con i funghi mi ha entusiasmato, l'antipasto del poggio è anch'esso da consumare. Da frequentare assolutamente

Un vero agriturismo, accogliente, pulito, comodo. L' ottimo ristorante ha una bellissima vista e tavoli esterni al rparo di tigli secolari . Grandi spazi con prati curati, fiori e piscina La colazione è abbondante e il personale molto gentile. A un passo dall'uscita di Barberino, ci torniamo regolarmente per rendere più piacevole la tratta Roma-Milano. Consigliatissimo!
