Hostal MiMi Las Ramblas

Finding the receptionist asleep on the bed in the room you are about to check into was a first. Due to lots of football matches and other events the city was full so a hostel was the only option we could afford. Generally the staff were nice and did their best. The issue with this place is a total lack of investment from the management. No matter how hard the staff work to clean- the place will always look awful due to the need to ***** out all the bathrooms ( shocking), decent redecoration and sorting out the electrics- it’s just depressing to stay in a room with a TV that not even wired in, a ceiling fan that doesn’t work and non functioning lamps. A lock box would have been great because although there were staff there all the time- I didn’t want to leave anything in my room as the downstairs door was always open. The location is brilliant- right next door to the fabulous Gaudi mansion- an early project for the Guell family. So close to the Gothic quarter too.

Really don't know where to start. I had to book this hostel because we were running short on time and it was available, cheap and located in the heart of Barcelona, but if my trip wasn't so short i would've definitely left. The building smells like a public restroom and i had to run with my mask on so i would be exposed to that smell for a long time. The hostel is on the 3rd/4th (?) floor and the elevator was broken so you can imagine how awful that was. The room looked ok but the floor was disgusting and there was an ant infestation. The shared bathrooms were a bit unclean. It chocked me the way they store guests' towels in the reception room, without any protection. It had a microwave and a kettle but i wouldn't use them honestly. As i said my trip was short and i didn't spend much time in the room but i wouldn't be there again over any circumstance.

Run away! Worst hostel I've never been. Dangerous and dirty. Horrible!!! If you still have the choice, don't stay there. The facility is insafe, holles in the walls, destroyed ceiling and building squated! Nothing safe it should be paid for!

Arnaque ! Hotel ne correspondant pas aux photos ! Manque d'hygiène. Des poils retrouvés dans le lit ainsi que des tâches. De la moisissure dans la salle de bain. Receptionnistes non sympathiques. Passez votre chemin. Je recommande pas...

In pieno centro, sulla Rambla, posizione fantastica (forse un po' sconsigliato a chi fa fatica a dormire, per la movida) Per il prezzo parecchio basso offre tutto ciò di cui uno può avere bisogno Pulito, letto comodissimo, danno persino la biancheria da camera e il sapone (è pur sempre un ostello) Se torniamo a Barcellona vogliamo andare esattamente lì Nella room number 5!

Partendo dal presupposto che abbiamo pagato una notte in questo posto ben 275€, per raggiungere la camera attraversiamo un atrio e un ingresso fatiscenti, trascurati e maleodoranti. Nella stanza le pareti erano sporche, le lenzuola macchiate e il bagno inutilizzabile con un tappetino della doccia usato, muffa sulle pareti, lavandino e doccia arrugginiti. Sul tavolo e sui comodini macchie di muffa e macchie nere perfino sulle sedie. Abbiamo fatto presente tutto questo al personale della reception - chiamando le addette in camera per prendere atto loro stesse dei vari problemi ma, nonostante abbiano provato a pulire (unica soluzione proposta dall’host) la situazione non è ovviamente migliorata. Abbiamo quindi chiesto di parlare con l’host, visto il prezzo pagato e il servizio ricevuto, ma non si è minimamente detto disponibile a trovare una soluzione per noi e anzi, in modo maleducato e arrogante, ci ha solo proposto di disdire la prenotazione. Di fronte al nostro malcontento ha perfino alzato i toni ricorrendo a offese personali, ribadendo che se la stanza non ci piaceva era solo “un problema nostro”. Avendo prenotato tramite airbnb, ci siamo rivolti all’assistenza clienti che, ovviamente, davanti alle stesse foto che allego, ci ha rimborsato pienamente. DA EVITARE!!!

El peor hostal de mi vida. Es literalmente asqueroso, sucio, 0 medidas covid, el recepcionista sin mascarilla, paredes destrozadas, baños asquerosos, parecía de una peli de terror, no entiendo las buenas recomendaciones, hace calor, mucho ruido, cortinas de miedo... Es para olvidar, no entiendo como este sitio tiene licencia para abrir, me quedo con ganas de mandarle una inspección.

Pour ce prix je pense que vous pouvez difficilement trouver mieux à Barcelone. Parfaitement placé, resto / bar / cafés / épicerie à 2 pas... L'équipe est très arrangeante, on a eu la chance d'avoir une chambre qui aurait dû nous couter plus chère, qui nous a été louée parce qu'il leurs rester plus que ça (on a débarqué sans réservation au dernier moment à minuit). Pour moi il s'agit plutôt d'une bonne auberge de jeunesse (cuisine collective à disposition etc ...), je pense que les commentaires négatifs ont été rédigés par des personnes voulant un "hôtel classique". Ma copine et moi étions vraiment satisfait, je n' ai pas l'habitude d'écrire des commentaires sur tripadvisor mais c'était la moindre des choses pour moi pour les remercier.

Me alojé en mayo en este hostal y debo decir que fue el hostal más sucio que he pisado... El baño daba mucho asco y en la habitación incluso había insectos... El chico de recepción muy majo, eso sí, en plena pandemia NO LLEVABA MASCARILLA. Mis padres y yo le hablábamos con ella y él en ningún momento se la puse. Nada recomendable este hostal
