説實話體驗感一般，沒有什麼驚喜之處，住的不是很舒服，雖然便宜但沒有早餐在巴塞爾這樣的地方其實性價比並不高。服務不錯，氣氛也還不錯，還有離火車站非常近，依然值得推薦

This was a super last minute booking, I just needed something easy and close to the station and I wasn’t disappointment ! There was a self check in, the common area was really big but cosy, wasn’t many people when I went but I’m sure it would be easy to talk to mingle. I chose the 8 bed mixed dorm and it was super clean with big windows and lots of air! The bed was really comfy. Bathrooms were clean and good. I didn’t explore the town but if you explore the park down the road and continue up the hills you reach some beautiful fields with poppies and crops, it was really refreshing to be out in the country so quick whilst being in the city.

Very noisy. I had to get up at 4am to catch early flight and could not sleep. People talking all hours of the morning. It’s more of a back packers place. Very expensive for a room with shared bathrooms. Positive it’s so close and easy to get to from Basel train station.

Good for a short stay, easy digital check in, staff were very nice - lent me an adapter for the night as I forgot one. Would be great if the beds in the shared rooms had little curtains or something as its very bright when people put on the light over there bed

This is definitely one of the more "technologically advanced" hostels. It's almost like you're walking into a futuristic Jurassic Park when entering through the back entrance. The staff were friendly and the place was mostly kept clean and tidy. I did, however, lost my watch here and the staff were quite responsive through emails, though we were not able to find it.

I'm going to write an honest review both positive and negative. Lovely and clean. Close enough to Basels old town which is beautiful. I only paid 54CHF. It's very near the train station which leads to the bus for the airport. The downside was it's all digital. So evenings no access to a member of staff. It states clearly on the front door that only in emergencies should you call the night porter otherwise you'll be charged. However, it was my unfortunate experience with the people in the room with me. A "lady" in her late 60s was disrespectful, rude and obnoxious along with another 2 young girls who all insisted on keeping g the door open whilst they talked outside. She Woke me up several times after literally dropping off to sleep. Lights on and off. No respect whatsoever. People talking outside the room most of the nights. Young lads running around like teenagers do. And nobody to speak to. I didn't think they'd assume it was an "emergency" and didn't want to be charged a call out, maybe it's like that most nights. I'm glad I only stayed for one night.

I booked Hyve last minute since I needed to stay in Basil due to train delays. What a lifesaver! It's a 5 minute walk from the train station and not expensive for Switzerland. I booked a bunk and then immediately reached out since I needed to check in before they left for the night. The hostel responded immediately and even held a lower bunk for me. I checked in on line, so was able to enter using a code. I arrived right before midnight and left at 5am, so can only rate the bed which was good. FYI that the phone charger is imbedded in the bunk light. Also, clean bathroom and everything looked very nice. Highly recommended!

Really nice place, clean, near the train station, staff so kind!! They have games to share with the guests, I really liked It, I felt really safe and easy check in and check out, the block where is situated IS really nice and safe and in general Bassel is great

Really wonderful hostel located just minutes walk away from SBB train station. Lockers available for storing your luggage before or after check-in or check-out. Very easy to complete self check-in. Really clean rooms, toilets, and showers. Spacious lockers within room but they can be a bit loud, so be considerate when using them. Laundry room and game room located downstairs. Beds are comfy and have personal USB slots & light, but top-bunk is somewhat difficult to climb up to. Bar and lounge located on ground floor with nice laid back vibe. Overall a really great experience, great value for what you spend.
