Americas Best Value Inn Batesville

After reading so many reviews on here, I decided to stay and check for myself. I loved the cleanliness of the lobby. Miranda (I hope I got that right) was awesome. We had great conversation and she was extra helpful. My reservation was in the system and I received my key with no problem. My room was on the lower deck. The room could use some updating, but it was clean and I had everything I needed. It's definitely an older hotel so don't expect the room to look like you're staying in a Hilton. The room initially had an odor, but it was because the air was off. The bed was definitely firm, but I slept comfortably. I was able to get a fresh set of towels the next morning. I'm not for sure why all the bad reviews, but I definitely didn't see or experience anything bad during my visit. Overall, I will be using this hotel as my little get-a-way spot.
