Best hotel in Battambang. Lots of charm and excellent service , facilities , food

Excellent hotel. Very clean room & facilities, a great pool, wonderful breakfast, and exceedingly friendly owners & staff.

Staff make this hotel. Whilst it is a beautiful place, the staff are so friendly and helpful so they are what make it special. Breakfast is served to the table and is like your own miniature buffet! A couple of menus were available (Khmer and western) with something for everyone. The pomelo and chicken salad was simple but delicious!

The staff are delightful, rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The focus on environmental sustainability is commendable with the design of the buildings down to the room provisions. Community support is also strong, sourcing food locally. There is a lovely village feel and it’s quiet.

The hotel is a true oasis amongst the narrow streets on outskirts of the town. The staff were charming (Mr Handsome morphed into Mr Gorgeous after his haircut - his choice of name!), the restaurant, bar a pool areas, surrounding the lotus pool, were lovely. Super pool. Water in room in glass bottles you topped up from a big container. Huge bedroom and the extra bed (no twins) was large and comfortable. Enjoyed good food, a great massage & the lovely swimming pool.

We stayed one night and were really annoyed that there was a wedding right next to the hotel. The hotel apologised when we checked in and gave us ear plugs! The noise was awful and kept us awake for hours. The manager apologised but did not offer any reduction in rate. Breakfast was ok but they bought out all the food at the same time so scrambled eggs went cold! Room had plug sockets on extension lead on the floor. Beds were hard. Pool was small. Nice setting though and staff were friendly. Certainly not 5 star.
