Mary Pat is the most gracious host! I've stayed at Maroela Guest House on numerous occasions over many years, and can highly recommend this establishment. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and tidy. Gardens are well kept and serene. Location is comfortable and central, perfect for business travel.

I had a pleasant experience , at Maroela House. The rooms were clean and tidy. Comforatable and serene surroundings. Welcoming and ever friendly staff , always willing to assist. I will always go back to Maroela House.

My stay, from the moment of check-in to check-out, was delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The courtyard, adorned with flourishing plants, felt like a serene oasis. If there's one minor suggestion, it would be to have slightly longer beds to accommodate guests of varying sizes. Overall, a wonderful experience.

An amazing, comfortable and homely experience, would definitely go back! from the charming nature of the owner to the simple detail of having an umbrella in the cupboard "just incase" it rains, makes you feel well taken care off. thank you for a lovely stay

My family and I visited the Maroela House in December 2023. We foubd the guest house to be so clean and breath taking. The room had a tea station and the bed had white clean linens. The pool was so clean and the kids really had a great time swimming. The host, Mary Pat was very welcoming and suggested nice activities that we could do, she was very helpful on everything that we needed. She offered a kitchen that we could use for breakfast and dinner and it had all the utensils that we needed. There was a nice eating area as well where we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner as a family. Yanga and Samanatha, the housekeepers were so great and kept our rooms clean. I would recommend the Maroela to anyone and would come back again when am visiting Cape- Town.

Mary's place exceeded expectations; it's evidently recently renovated and looks even better in person than in the listing photos. Privacy was respected, and the host was incredibly responsive whenever assistance was needed. The serene neighborhood, adorned with large homes, added to the overall peaceful experience.

Welcome - was greeted with a warm welcome with all the relevant info shared Location - a short drive from the airport makes the location of the guest house a plus. Traffic not too congested. Atmosphere - comfortable environment. Premises are well maintained making it a pleasure have a coffee outside. Comfortable rooms with good cleaning services. Breakfast - big breakfast and tasty as well. Summary - all over it was a very comfortable stay. Would surely recommend Amaroela guest house to fellow business travelers.

The staff of Maroela House is very friendly and focused on taking good care of the guests. The service is excellent and the facilities are fine. Maroela House is very well located in a quiet residential area and the N1 is quickly accessible.

Stayed at Maroela Guest House for 15 days, which were one of best days spent in Cape Town. Safe, clean and secure. The room has access to well equipped kitchen. The staff and owner, Mary are very caring and warm people. I still remember my regular conversations with them. Room had access to beautiful garden, where I use to have morning breakfast and evening tea, overlooking a swimming pool. Overall, the accommodation is well suited for everyone owing to it's location, caring staff, parking lot and more importantly for it's cleanliness.
