Having previously visited this lovely hotel we were shocked to receive a demand for payment on arrival without even a word of welcome ! No problem with paying but the interpersonal skills on reception - in the next door hotel- were lacking. The rocamar used to have a wonderful staff, professional and friendly. Now the hotel is a stripped out shell, no reception , no bakery, and a complete lack of security ( previously there was always a guy on overnight ). In the evenings the lights on the stairways were off, we used our phone torches for safety . Very sad , spoilt by some faceless chain. This will be our last stay at a hotel which really had it all in terms of location , ambience , comfort & welcome . Now it only offers the location , simply not good enough .

Upon arrival found out had been taken over and check in was hr later told go away come back in a hr My friend had paid 10 months earlier to be guaranteed room 401 he got 404 room 401 had a surcharge which eventually got back our other room booked as a twin tried to give two males a double room took two trips to reception to sort it The bathroom around the outside of shower was brown with dirt and grime the frame around bathroom door was coming away we stayed 4 nights and they only came in to clean fleetingly once and never left any clean towels the whole time there My friend has stayed here 10 times before under previous owner and said was fabulous but would never stay here again All in all a very disappointing stay at a hotel that has gone downhill since being taken over

Excellent location, fabulous staff willing to go over & above ..room is spotless and good amenities. The only negative for us is we didn’t book a superior room which meant we didn’t have a balcony to sit in . Other than that we would suggest .. a small thing.. but the housekeeping staff would replace the cups daily. Thank you

We had a great stay at the Rocamar. Perfect for a few nights stay to explore the old town and close to the beach. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Hotel very clean. If we return to Benidorm, we'd look to stay again

Lovely clean modern hotel, would definitely recommend and will definitely return. Staff lovely and helpful. Hotel is situated in old town just a few minutes walk to beach. Pictures of rooms on trip advisor do not do it justice they are of a high standard.

We went for 14 nights and I think this hotel would be great for a long weekend. Though it was very clean and the staff were great, I missed having a balcony to sit on, there is a balcony but only 2 feet wide. There are some rooms with terraces but it just wasn’t for me. In some photos of the hotel there is a hot tub but that is no longer there. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss, you also have to ask for everything, bread for toast, fruit, pastries. It’s a bit of a pain getting your scrambled eggs with bread then waiting to be able to toast the bread, by that time the eggs are cold. All in all, it is a lovely little hotel for a short break but not for a main holiday. The beach is not far( walking downhill) but is a trudge getting back, so you need to be quite fit and able.

Great location in old town. Good value for money in comparison to other hotels nearby. No breakfast included in the price unfortunately but loads of options nearby. Friendly staff and given the central location, quiet on an evening. Recommended

First time in Benidorm and stayed at the Hotel Rocomar. So glad we did. Located in the Old part of Benidorm, on a quiet street. Conveniently situated near 'tapas alley' some good local bars and not too far from the sea front and also local shops. Less than 5 minute walk from the church and views of Benidorm. Hotel was Brilliant, rooms super comfortable and perfectly clean. Owners and staff were awesome, very friendly and available 24/7. Super little hotel, that I would gladly return to and recommend to family, friends and anyone going to Benidorm.

Great hotel welcoming very clean great location had a great stay here.close to bars cafes and beaches.food is great ,the old town is quieter than Lavanty beach area with lots of tapers bars and good restaurants in the area .harbour is a short walk away.
