Hotel Servigroup Castilla

Booked to grab the last part of summer. Returning to the hotel after a two year gap. Happily, all was as we remembered it. The hotel is in a quieter corner of benidorm, although not very far from all the action. The Old Town, the nearest beach and the clubbing area, are all in different directions, each about a 15/20 walk. Our room was exactly as requested. Most welcome was the efficient independent air conditioning, because the weather was very hot, even for September. Nice poolside balcony, TV, Safe, Fridge. No coffee facilities. Very satisfactory bathroom. One tiny grumble, most benidorm hotels provide a couple of bathroom glasses for toothbrushes etc. Here, unfortunately, you only get 2 cardboard cups, which start leaking after 24 hours use. The standard of the restaurant food is way above the benidorm average, and its preparation is quite sympathetic to british tastes. The bar area does have a kitchen of sorts and there is a limited menu during the afternoons. The pool area is usually one of the quietest in benidorm. Unusually for benidorm hotels there are plenty of sun chairs, available for all. There is evening entertainment in the large lounge area. Also a large TV screen for football matches. Another plus for those seeking a quiet vacation is that the hotel does not particularly welcome stag and hen party groups. Reception staff were incredibly helpful with their local knowledge. Would, and probably will, stay again in the future.

We cannot praise this hotel enough, from the minute we entered the service was outstanding. First we were greeted by Jackie on reception. The bar staff especially Ingrid and Jamie, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff. We will definitely return and we truly cannot recommend the Castilla enough. Our holiday was fabulous. The food was outstanding, so many different dishes to choose from each day. The chefs were kind and all the staff had plenty of time to talk to ypu, nothing absolutely nothing was a problem. The rooms were clean and spacious. Lovely balcony. If you're looking at this hotel please don't hesitate, just book it, you won't regret it.

Great hotel . Spotlessly clean throughout hotel . Rooms cleaned and daily towel change . Free room safe . Pool towels can be hired just €20 deposit though they don’t exchange for clean ones but you do get your deposit back in full . Beds very comfortable and great electric blackout blinds . Food pretty good for a small hotel . In a quiet area with a few bars within close walking distance. Good location for both new and old town . Never had a problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day though this could be due to the time of year . Would I go back to this hotel definitely. A lot of older clients in hotel and entertainment centres around this age group

We've just returned home a few days ago. Great hotel and location. Just up a quiet road away from the lively area. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout with friendly staff. Our room was on floor 8 overlooking the pool. (I had asked for a pool view before we arrived). My husband and daughter had the full English breakfast which they said was great. There was porridge, freshly prepared omelettes, crossaints, toast etc. I'm a veggie and was always something for the evening meal. The puddings were lovely, bread and butter pudding, fruit crumble and custard, ice cream and a variety of cakes. The pool area was really nice and quiet (great bar staff). I must mention the lovely lady Jackie, we had a couple of issues where the room card wouldn't work. Jackie sorted it straight away. We were also given a complimentary room at the end of the day before just before we left. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would return in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Very good hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Entire hotel is immaculate. Beds very comfortable. Housekeeping daily who replaced towels. Great location in a quiet area yet short walk to all entertainment. We stayed B an B. Breakfast was good with English bacon. Only gripe would be that breakfast didn't start until 08.00. For early checkout they did provide a Continental breakfast though. No hesitation to return or recommend.

Absolutely fabulous . Stayed here for three nights with girl friends to celebrate my 50th. The staff were amazing. So helpful. Jackie on the front desk couldn’t do enough for us . The rooms were great, located together , and the pool areas was beautiful and clean. Lots of beds. Food in hotel was also good, with variety and good service. The location was great for going out and was safe too. Easy walk to the beach. One of my favourite hotels we have been to (have done four trips in recent years).
