Obwohl für zwei Gäste gebucht, war das Zimmer nur für einen Gast vorbereitet
Nur durch mehrfache Nachfrage konnte dann endlich gegen 23.00 Uhr das zweite Bettzeug geliefert werden. Rezeption sehr unbeweglich
ein weiterer Aufenthalt wird noch zu prüfen sein

Good area to start exploring Berlin. We booked a comfort room. Small room. 4th floor instead of DG. Quite used and a bit dirt here and there. Very used and dirty shower curtain. Bed was uncomfortable too. Unfortunately…

I liked the location as it is near public transportation and many restaurants. It is set back far enough from the street that it is quiet. The rooms are spacious about 350 to 400 square feet. The breakfast buffet is impressive with a big selection. The property is rundown and in need of a facelift. Overall it is good value compared to the other hotels most of which were higher priced.

This was our third time in Berlin. We stayed 3 nights in Zarenhof hotel. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but we had to leave a day earlier. The hotel didn’t charge the night we left earlier, so a big thank you to the hotel. The hotel is located in Prenzlauer Berg right beside the metro/U-bahn. (U2) The area is safe and really cosy. Your are within walking distance of Mauer Park. Speaking of Mauer Park. Try to go there on a sunday, you won’t regret it. Check in and checkout was quick. We stayed two adults and two children in room 308. A spacious room with a little kitchen and a refrigerator. The room was clean and we had a balcony which was very nice in the mornings and evenings. The breakfast was nice with a fine selection of cold and warm food and drinks. But the the breakfast staff. Wow I didn’t see one smile from either of them. No friendly welcome or anything. They really ought to lighten up a little. Wi-Fi is free and the connection is good. You have access to a parking garage nearby for approximately 15 euros/night. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Zarenhof Hotel another time.

Stay here if you are a teenager not for families at all. We were given a room with six dorm beds.

Good location for transport . Very clean room and bathroom. Entrance was a bit off putting - needs painting. Overall very pleased
