Clarion Pointe Bettendorf - Quad Cities

Complete disaster. Being a DIAMOND MEMBER I was given a standard room, which is what I booked, but was informed I would have a upgrade to a SUITE. As I was checking in my credit card was charged 442.45 suddenly I was told by the young man who’s English was a little hard to understand that that room wasn’t available anymore, I was a little bewildered but I was super later checking in so I said ok as I was very tired from 5 hour flight and a 3 hour drive. As the young man got me the correct room, I was charged 442.45 a second time well my credit card declined it which kudos to them as with most CC a second charge of the same could be fraud, so I used a different card and was charged 442.45. As I get to my room things went from BAD to WORSE the bathroom tub had mold all around it, hole in the wall, chair broke, room smelling like animals, carpet filthy, tv wouldn’t turn on then it wouldn’t turn off once on and top off I woke up the next morning to a rash all over my body. The next day I asked have a different room as there was so many issues with my current room. I was told I had to speak with the manager, so I left my name and number because she wasn’t in until noon. Well noon came and went” no call from manager”as I was doing presentations all day and didn’t get back until late to the hotel again, so once again I asked for a different room and I had to speak with the manager to get one. Day 2 woke up more rashes all over my body and a smelly room. Left my name and number again to be called, no call . So in between presentations I called to speak with the manager, hummmm she’s not in I left a message that I need another room, I also let the front desk know after checking,I was charged the 442.45 on both my cards so I need a refunded on the first card. Well after a whole week of waiting on the manager to call me, I’m wondering if they even have a manager. This is by far the worse stay I’ve ever had here, last year I had to endure a racially, charged counterperson insulting the cleaning staff, and cannot believe the manner in which this situation has been handled. I will find another hotel the next time. I also can’t believe the way this hotel is run I expect better! STAY AWAY!!! YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!!

Comfortable clean room. Basic hotel breakfast included waffles. Traveling with one family member and visiting other family in the area, so basically used the room for sleeping. Good value for an overnight stay.

Upon check in the lady at desk continued a personal cell phone call while helping me. No explanation of the WiFI was given We were put on 3rd floor where they had ladders and light fixtures laying around Went to go to pool, opened the door and it was ICE COLD, NO HEAT AT ALL. My daughter couldn't go further than 2 stairs the water was not warm. No towels in the pool area. Pool table was broke and chips in the vending machine expired may 2021!! Breakfast was watered down juices, cereal and waffles or pancakes. Air/heat would not stay on despite adjusting temp and leaving fan on vs fan on auto. The vents in unit were also either super dirty or moldy. I took a picture for reference Floor was warped in bathroom so door stuck everytime. Garbage was left outside rooms for our whole stay Beds were firm but comfortable. That's the only positive I have. Was not worth the price I paid. Definitely many other choices in the area.

Very clean hotel, clean room, comfy bed good place to stay. friendly staff, breakfast is free, but not great. Coffee is strong so if you like strong coffee, you will like it. Incidentals are available in the lobby.

My experience was great. We had just motored 780 miles on motorcycles and were exhausted so we were easy to please! Good value/ Clean room. No complaints. What little interaction we had with the staff was professional. I would stay here again.
